*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Saudi Sportswashing Machine FC ***

On my way home after yet another defeat. However the difference is that today I don’t feel as deflated as I have done several times this season (Bournemouth, Chelsea being the prime examples; even Coventry which we won!!).

I thought the players really applied themselves and are clearly still playing for Ange. I think we were very unlucky to get nothing from the game; even more so to get nothing.

I can hardly believe that officials are able to continually lower their performance bar and yet here we are, yet again. Saudi Sportswashing Machine had the ref on toast and he was too weak to do anything about it. He failed to issue a perfectly justified yellow card early doors which set the tone for Saudi Sportswashing Machine players to cheat, foul and time waste without repercussion. As usual, the added time was nowhere near what it should have been bit as usual it was profitable for the side that did it. The handball goal might be open to discussion, but Burn’s deliberate handball absolutely is not. How neither he nor Joelinton was dismissed today beggars belief. I’ve been highly critical of Ange this season but not today, and I symapathise with his ‘no level playing field’ comments. Absolutely everything went (and was allowed to go) Saudi Sportswashing Machine’s way today. A truly despicable performance from the officials.

Nailed it
The rule for the penalty was applied currently, but the rule is an arse
The related and dangerous fouling of Joelinton was unreal
And Dan handball Burn
WTF…

I would be writing to PGMOL, if you apply the letter of the law for one game turning handball incident why was it not applied in another.
I would also ask for clarification on how many fouls need to happen before a booking happens.
When we have a player booked in the first 10 minutes and joelinton got away with at three today then I think it's time questions we're asked.

Joelinton
3 late tackles, no yellow
Whacked Begvall in the head no yellow

Do you think Kulu's shoulder on Gordon should be a yellow too? You know, the one with actual blood everywhere rather than a little bump on Bergvall's noggin.

If it's just purely based on what colour shirt someone's wearing just admit it. I don't think either are yellows, you might want the game soft without anyone possibly bumping into anyone else but at the moment it's a contact sport.

That was joelintons second foul after being warned that the ref would allow him no more fouls.
The fact there was blood was totally irrelevant, it wasn't a foul.

Yeah I don't think we lost because of the officials today, Saudi Sportswashing Machine could have had a pen and it was a bad challenge on Gordon that went unpunished. We missed our chances and let two sloppy goals in. It's on us not the officials.

fudge it I'm eating my own words and I want Ange in. I don't feel deflated today at all in fact I said it before but I'm proud of them today. We have our all against a team that wasn't really affected by their injuries.

Ange needs time regardless of how this season goes.

Even if, and a big if, we do get closer to relegation. .

I do hope that Levy gives him time and the resources.

I apologise for my rants last week during the Wolves game and I am Ange in.

I liked that interview, I'd be fudged if I were a manager and get a season ban for calling everyone associated with football, bar spurs, utter clams.

Dunno
If the ref had done the basics and sent of Burn for the se if yellow, in the first half and applied the rules, like they did for their first goal it’s likely a different game
Add in the constant fouling form Joelinton that were worth of cards … I do think him and Bruno trying to look like each other confused the refs
