The 3 forwards are too far away to help the CMs.
The 2 WBs are too wide to help the CMs
The CBs are behding them

Our CM gets over-run all the time

It’s hardly Keane and Viera either is it.

The CBs aren’t good enough so need 3, the CMs aren’t good enough so need 3. Bentancur a big miss. Done the job of 1.5 players at least.

I think he could have gone 3-5-2 or 4-3-3, the latter would need a little shoe-horning but we just get over-run in this formation

3 issues:

Weak defensively at wing-back on both flanks.
Missing fresh bodies and some refinement in midfield.
Lacking that commanding CB who can dominate.

Leicester. We had a couple of good performances/results after to be fair.

Skipp and PEH are excellent. But we miss a deftness that the likes of Eriksen, Bentancur bring. An ability to play forward and make passes others don't see let alone make.
