***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Liverpool***

Just had TalkSport on as was driving, interviewed 2 Geordie & 2 Gooners, all 4 said about getting through and getting Liverpool, love being written off by roostersmokers

Personally would start kinsky. He's done well.

Would be great to have him back, but Kinsky has done well and I would give him these domestic cups games

Vicario gets Europa and probably league

Its hard, but Kinsky have earned his spot. I feel its less stress in the back with Kinsky, Vick is a good shot stopper but I like having a keeper thats not fumbeling and blaming everyone on corners. Kinsky should hold his place, Vick has to earn his spot back

Ali Gold said earlier that Danso has only played once in about 6 weeks because France has a winter break and Danso didn't figure in the last 3 games (was that perhaps because he wasn't selected or was looking to move... rather than injury??) so will be pretty rusty.
Maybe if we can keep it tight he can come on and be a 'big lad' as we try to defend the box.
I would go all out for a boring 0-0 and try to hit them on the break with Son.

It will be a bruising fixture; tonight Trossard got tackled extremely hard by Guimaraes, Tonali got hacked by Partey, Burn got smashed, Rice chopped down Guimaraes, getting very feisty, so it is not unusual in high profile games. Could easily have seen some reds here tonight.

Missed the last 3, but played the 2 before 5th and 12th of January (didn't look for December games)

Might be rusty, could be fresh and not run down.

I'm sure he was still training, so should be fine to start if we need him.

I disagree. Do we have to be sensible defensively? Yes. Do we want to sit back and wait for what would be inevitable? No. We need to be more controlled. We need to attack and defend as a team.

If we sit back then we invite pressure on us and then one mistake or great moment for Liverpool and what are we defending? I also think that the team would have a defensive mentality and then find it harder to switch up the gears to go for the attacks.

I think we need to be strong but not to fall back. We need to be a team and hopefully all those lucky enough to be going will give it their all tomorrow night. Be positive for the team WHATEVER happens. We beat City and United to get here so we have had a good cup run but let’s make it a great cup run!

Indeed. The thing about supporting Spurs over the last 15 years is that we've got a genuine chance of beating anyone.

We've also got a genuine chance of losing to anyone, of course. That's who we are, mate.

Did you just describe how football works?

Yes. Be brave. Press when we can and have the energy for it. Sit back when we're forced back out don't have the energy to press. Be brave on the ball under pressure. Back line and midfield in particular. Try to hurt them.
