OMT ** Tottenham Hotspur v AZ - Thursday 24 October at 8pm **

Nice, a good win.

Much much 2nd better half, but once again, got sloppy for no reason again gave the ball away far too much. First half, started of good, ended in a whimper.

Really need to work on how we break teams down, we should be creating more clear cut chances and need to shoot from range as well, we need to use all tools in the box, not just try the one.

Moore for Crystal Palace.

We're not winning pretty, but we're winning. That's what matters.
And, in important games, we're getting valuable development time for our young players and for those coming back from injury. Dragusin got a chance to redeem himself and mostly validated his selection. Big Fraser ForSTFUer says 'Take That' to the naysayers. Ange continues to show a great knack for making substitutions and adjustments.

But surely there'll be those who'll drill down on the negatives. I liked a great deal of what I saw tonight.

After seasons of watching 11 blokes thrown together struggling to look like a team and losing it made a nice change. As many have written there were positives to take from match, game time for youngsters and those who needed it, a clean sheet for Foster, goal for Richy, Mickey Moore showed his talent and character after early miss, gave a rest to regulars and most importantly a victory, that's all you have to do in a cup game. I didn't expect a dominant team display with so many changes but felt we did control well at times as well as looking to over play in defence. Well pleased with result.

Not a convincing performance but a win nevertheless. Quite a few positives as well. We looked so much better when Werner went off and Mikey Moore switched to his best position. The trouble with making so many changes to the starting line up is there are too many players trying to make a name for themselves and I think it tends to make them a little greedy with the ball by trying to do too much on their own.
But we can`t complain 3 wins from 3 with our young and back up players. Also players not in their best position (Archie Gray?) A couple of players made mistakes which should have cost us but made up in other ways, I`m talking Dragusin and Bentancaur who buth made up for mistakes with a couple of excellent blocks.
Only real disappointment for me was Bergvall , he didn`t have a particularly bad game but nothing came off for him. Got some tough games coming up so we really need to rotate players in the Europa league. And as said by previous posters why is Spence not in the Europa league squad? I`d love to know what Anges reason is for that.
