He will
But I think it’s a few years away
Don't think he is a few years away, he is raw but he's had some encouraging performances. It was only last week people were saying we were much better when he came on. He's young and a dribbly winger, which means he is going to suffer from inconsistent performances for the time being....

I do
Just imo he won’t get regular games because of his age and experience
I hope I’m wrong
Doesn’t affect his talent or ability but if needs to click and players need time some times

Lots of panic and meltdown but to come away from a really poor performance only 1-0 down is decent. They’ve been very good at home and on a good run. But we’re more than capable of turning it around.

For all the talk of Spurs being too attacking/open/naive, the thing that's killed us against Liverpool, Villa and now in this game is being too passive. Ange turned things down a notch to deal with the injuries, now we've gotta turn it back on sharpish. We're at our best when there's energy to our game; high press, quick passing. Ange isn't a pragmatic manager and we shouldn't be a pragmatic team. I'd rather lose 5-4 than sit through a brick 1-0 like that.

Does it not worry you that it seems the more time Ange has to prepare for a big game, the worse we seem to look and play?

I still can't believe lastnight
8 days off to rest and work on a plan, tactics for this game
What happens, we throw (Vicario/Bergvall/Spence aside) a 3/10
It's a disgrace

Ok, do where will things go for Ange and us from here this season? When do you predict we will start looking coherent?

Not sure. But given the reaction to this match I’d be surprised if he sees out the season. I already said I don’t think we’ll win the Europa League and Spurs fans are clearly absolutely bricking the bed, so pressure is only going to build.

What do you mean by bricking the bed?

So, you think the reaction by many Spurs fans to our number of losses this season is an overreaction?

Do you think our general poor play that has been seen more and more of since last spring and progressively becoming more commonplace is 'normal' under Ange?

He’s delivering a season, so far, that’s pretty much as bad as anything even in the 90s save for maybe the worst seasons of Gross and Ossie where we battled relegation. That after 20 years of pretty much battling for top 6 or higher. The back end of last season wasn’t too hot either.

It’s been really, really poor. Worse than I imagined he’d deliver. What has he shown to deserve anyone keeping the faith?

Because the opposition know it and it's easy to snuff it out.

Why can't anyone execute it?
That's the last two games maddison has fudged up set pieces at the opponents end of the pitch, he can't make five yard passes from a dead ball, that's not a system issue.
That's not the opponents knowing the system, that's players not doing the basics.

18 defeats this season !!
14 last

No plan, no tactics, but we as fans are bricking the bed apparently

Ange has made losing Normal, so I get the confusion of some over fans wanting to win games

Quite obviously, not enough. I just think the majority of Spurs fans are completely missing the context of his appointment. It was an appointment to say we fudged up since 2019 and we're going to try and correct things but it's not a 2 year project. It's not "win the Europa League or bust" and it never was.

I think the reaction to last night is an overreaction. We lost 1-0 away in Europe. Since 2000, we've won 21 out of 56 away European matches. Now the performance was quite obviously not good enough. But it's not the end of the world. We've been here before.

I also think the reaction to the losses has been over the top, because of the injuries (which, in turn leads to completely over the top "analysis" of Ange being at fault for all of them.)

Of course and I like the bloke alot TBH and want him to work more than anyone, but its also not a finish 5th, spend fairly well and finish 14th either.

I more then most get the need for a project view but we can also admit he has got things wrong in his time here too, I think we would be lying to ourselves to say he has handled everything par for the situation
