*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

My main gripe is that we never seem to improve. It`s the same mistakes week in and week out. We are very fortunate to get a point today, another day and we could have lost by 2 or 3 goals. The truth is we have so many players who are just not good/consistent enough. But how many rebuilds do we have to go through?

Bournemouth are an impressive team, because every player seems so calm on the ball, passes are controlled and invariably find their man. The players are alert to turnover opportunities, which come about because they press so well and their movement is very good.

Their disallowed goal was a thing of beauty. I was relieved, but at the same time so impressed at the way they moved from defence to attack and then bam goal. Yes they haven't played as many games as us and it remains to be seen whether they can cope with European football if they get there, but you have to assume if they do, they will strengthen their squad. They are everything we are not ATM.

And btw that was pretty much our strongest 11 (minus Kulu)

Psr will stop them
Same as forest

Well well, I had a fantastic day weeding and tidying the garden, and didn't put a bet on a Bournemouth win, so great result all the way round. We're not in any danger of going down, who knows , we might even win on Thursday? Life is sweet!

Have to say Iraola is such an impressive manager. May already be out of our reach if other teams are looking at him. His Bournemouth team knows how to press.
That’s what happens when your playing once a week
You have that extra time to work on it
And he had last year to embed the system
Said it last January he is the next poch on here

That control comes from good management not just because they've play fewer games. They have a smaller squad than us in any case. And they are still in the Cup too. Iraola and Ange were appointed at the same time.

Hope Levy is showing him the Cheeseroom right this minute.

I don't want Ange out just yet, but if I could choose his replacement, it would be Kjetil Knudtsen from Bodø Glimt. Amazing coach who's done incredible things for years now. Plays in a similar way to what we're supposed to be, yet far better at defending. It's quite astonishing that they are able to compete in Europe, year after year, when you factor in that their total revenue is less than we paid for Solanke.
