OMT - Tottenham Hotspur FC vs Tamworth FC

He has gone very strong there. Clearly doesn't trust alot of the youngsters. But that team should (I know) win the game in the 1st half and we hopefully change it up in the 2nd.

I'm dissapointed Lankshear is not starting as I don't see Werner as a goal scorer, not surprised by Dorrington omission as both CB have worked well so far. Our midfield must control this game, if they do we should win.

Reminder that Spurs do have an outdoor 4G pitch that they trained on in the build up to this match.

Reminder that Ange's teams played on this type of surface 2 years ago when he took Celtic to crappy Scottish clubs, he said before the match that it does play different to turf, but at least it isn't the 70s/80s mudbaths which caused a lot of cup upsets.

Reminder that Ange said he wouldn't play any players on their way back from injuries e.g. hamstrings because this surface is not kind to them.

Agree Lankshear should be playing BUT perhaps he has been ill or has a small niggle.

And let's face it, most of us have got a small niggle.

Resting players, not what we do mate

We haven't got to players to do it, if you had seen how our outstanding U21 team struggled against experienced older players in whatever cup they played in last season you would see how big a step it is for them and to think a lot of youngsters could come in a win today is delusional, Chelsea, Liverpool and Emirates Marketing Project put out more experienced teams yesterday than we could.

I think that Ange is prioritising the cups. Realises that we are very unlikely to finish top 5 and so wants to give our best efforts to the cups as if we win one that would be huge for the club. And would be a platform to build forwards from.

But not trusting the guy who led the line against the Hungarian and Turkish champions, or the one who played solidly against Southampton, against a team of literal amateurs.

PS Reminder this is on ITVX and has 45 minutes of build up, which is rather luxurious.

If you're abroad, try a VPN to change to England and try the ITVX App

I remember how we struggled in our last game on such a pitch in Europe.

3G, not 4G. 4G doesn't really exist, its just job title inflation.
