OMT - Tottenham Hotspur FC vs Tamworth FC

Every day is a school day Gutter Boy

The main difference between 3G and 4G pitches is that 3G pitches have infill, while 4G pitches do not:
Infill: 3G pitches contain sand and rubber infill, while 4G pitches do not.
Safety: 3G pitches are considered safer and more comfortable than 4G pitches because of the infill.
Maintenance: 4G pitches are lower maintenance than 3G pitches.
FIFA approval: 3G pitches are the only artificial turf technology approved by FIFA and other football governing bodies. 4G pitches are still in the early stages of development and have not been accredited by any major sporting body.
Usage: 3G pitches are suitable for many different types of sports, including football and rugby. 4G pitches are typically an option for indoor areas and limited access areas.
Cost: 3G pitches are cheaper than 4G pitches.
Other differences between 3G and 4G pitches include:
Pile height: 3G pitches have a longer pile height, usually between 40-60mm.
Weatherproof: 3G pitches are weatherproof and free-draining.
Wear and tear: 3G pitches can withstand intensive usage without showing signs of wear and tear.
I thought we were onto 5g now?

Quite the opposite! This is proper football! This is what football is about!

I fair enough. I respect your right to hold that opinion.

I detest this format and despair for our expensive athletes having to play in such poor conditions against such inferior competitors.

So 4G doesnt exist, because its not approved for use anywhere yet.

Every local pens calling themselves 4G, 5G, 8G or whatever are just trumping

So, which Tamworth player is the "lower league enforcer" who will "leave a couple of welcome to Tamworth" tackles, and who is the "maverick who never quite got the chance" , that'll dance past three of our players and ping a 30 yard shot into the top bin?

COYS!

That’s the only type of player in non league football.

Come on, the Blackpool hurricane was as brilliant a part of the 91 victory story as schoolboy's own stuff
