OMT - Tottenham Hotspur FC vs Tamworth FC

And he has played the youth when he sees fit and when he thinks they are good enough. Which yes involves doing thing his own way, which I assume is what any decent manager would do. A few on here thinks Lankshear or whoever is ready for more minutes, Ange doesn't - nothing more to it than that, it's not stubbornness or anything....
I think wanting Lankshear to get more minutes was in response to Werner getting less minutes:)

Milk goes in first, so it’s always the right amount.

Not all bags are equal, final colour is my gauge.

All other parameters are set.

No. Because you want the water at boiling temperature to get the best extraction from the leaves. Milk lowers the temperature and gives a less optimal final product.

Now if you make tea in a pot first. Putting milk in the cup first is better as the milk warms at the same rate reducing risk of skin on top.

It gives me tea I like, which is the whole point right?

You do it your way, all good.

I think you might be posh. The reason your servants put your milk in the Royal Albert cup first is because the Earl Gray is infusing in the tea-pot. Then they pour the tea into your cup, obviously not spilling any into the saucer. :)

Your last bit is sort of there. If you put milk into boiling water, it curdles and goes off, affecting the taste. If you raise the temperature of the milk more gently by adding the water to it, that doesn't happen.

Nah, need a set amount of milk, adjust with the bag.

Not telling others to make theirs, just explaining what I like.
I'm with you on this one.
Milk in first (whether teabag or loose leaf from a pot) - but it's nothing to do with the taste (there's no difference between milk first or last imo), it's because I don't really like the taste of milk, so a) it will ideally be skimmed, and b) by putting it in first I can judge exactly how much I am putting in.
If I'm abroad I always drink tea black as I never know what the milk will be like.

Calling or assuming Ange stubbornness is no outrage given the nature of his interviews IMO, he comes across extremely so
