Not all bags are equal, final colour is my gauge
That is why you'd do the bag first then adjust with the milk
Should be drinking it black anyway

I think wanting Lankshear to get more minutes was in response to Werner getting less minutesAnd he has played the youth when he sees fit and when he thinks they are good enough. Which yes involves doing thing his own way, which I assume is what any decent manager would do. A few on here thinks Lankshear or whoever is ready for more minutes, Ange doesn't - nothing more to it than that, it's not stubbornness or anything....
Irrelevant - where do you stand on the brewing of tea?I think wanting Lankshear to get more minutes was in response to Werner getting less minutes
Milk goes in first, so it’s always the right amount.
Not all bags are equal, final colour is my gauge.
All other parameters are set.
Dear GHod...I’ve put a lot of research into this.
I don’t care about the science, when I make tea, it tastes better when the milk goes in first.
All I can say....is re-boiling the kettle is a crime.Irrelevant - where do you stand on the brewing of tea?

No. Because you want the water at boiling temperature to get the best extraction from the leaves. Milk lowers the temperature and gives a less optimal final product.
Now if you make tea in a pot first. Putting milk in the cup first is better as the milk warms at the same rate reducing risk of skin on top.
It gives me tea I like, which is the whole point right?
You do it your way, all good.
I think you might be posh. The reason your servants put your milk in the Royal Albert cup first is because the Earl Gray is infusing in the tea-pot. Then they pour the tea into your cup, obviously not spilling any into the saucer.
My Nan drank her tea from the saucer much to the annoyance of my Mum.

He also microwaves itDear GHod...
Did she read the tea-leaves after?
No that would have been whichcraft, but my mum's family were superstitious about everything, there were a whole list of things you shouldn't do on certain days or say, wear, do in a particular way.
I'm with you on this one.Nah, need a set amount of milk, adjust with the bag.
Not telling others to make theirs, just explaining what I like.
