If Anyone ever needed proof stats tell half the story. If lloris was good off his feet he would be At one of the best clubs in bt world. Statos go wild but this is the truth
He is talking about our speed on the ball when in possession. This is a prime example of how sometimes we need to be brave and play Winks instead of either Moose or Victor. Both are royal players, but against sides like Liverpool you need to move the ball quickly when you have it. Which Winks does. And he does not lose possession. Also, we had no fit first-choice left-sided players! This was a mASSIVE issue!

That is why I wonder if Son is being blamed unfairly for not supporting Davies. I think he may have been under instruction to occupy the space left vacant by Clyne when he ventured forward in the hope that when the Pool move breaks down Son, or Alli at times, could then exploit this. Indeed, our chance was down to Son being upfield.Very surprised and somewhat dismayed by Poch's reported comments today that " when asked whether his side had pushed forward too much and left gaps at the back, Pochettino disagreed, "for me, it was the opposite" he said believing his team were too deep at times'.
If true, that is deeply worrying and shows he isn't learning.
Good passing and possession is not just bout getting the ball from A to B.My mistake. Here are the stats, it tells much the same story

I don't have any problem with people using their eyes but data can be helpful too. The claim was that Lloris is poor in possession, that's clearly not true.
Nonsense, Lloris is at one of the best Clubs in the World. If Anyone ever needed proof stats tell half the story. If lloris was good off his feet he would be At one of the best clubs in bt world. Statos go wild but this is the truth
It's not all doom and gloom though. We've played 2/3 of the season and we've only lost 3 times. The worrying thing is that our 2 worst performances have come away to Manure and Liverpoo. Looking ahead, if we can keep going like we have, we should target 80 points. 9 wins, 1 loss and 3 draws from the remaining 13 fixtures should be doable, and would see us and up with a record 80 points. Should be enough for 2nd/3rd.
Good passing and possession is not just bout getting the ball from A to B.
It is also about not putting the receiving player in deep brick or the team in a poor situation or creating a better offensive position.
I don't feel Lloris is as good with his feet as say Vorm, we often end up panicking playing from the back.
We've got the third highest possession stats in the league. If we are seeing players put under pressure from passes from Lloris, then it is not being reflected in the ball being turned over.

That's because in 90% of our games no-one is putting the press on.
We deal with it badly. Period.
Combine the press with coutinho, firminio, mane, llanna, sane, De bruyne, aguero, Silva, sterling, and as we witnessed against City and Pool you will have problems and rightly so against that calibre of player.
How we deal with it (especially against Pool who we don't match up well with) is a big issue for Poch. Perhaps we use the tactics some of the lesser teams have had success with, I know it will be a bit alien to us but at least it will give us a chance and it'll only be for 3 or 4 games a season.

Think Mcmananan made a good point. Chelsea came to Liverpool and sat back. Didn't need to give them any space. We've seen this last month teams frustrate Liverpool by sitting deep and picking them off. What do we do? Push right up and give Mane the opportunity for two easy goals.
This ones on Poch for me. Naive.
Very frustrating that he didn't start and that he didn't come on earlier. Different class under pressure from the minute he stepped on the pitch.
