Anything more positive than eleven season-ending injuries will be a bonus. A goal would be manna; a win an impossible dream come true. I'm not sure I'd trust any of our lot to wipe their own arses at the minute.

I think we'll see a very young spurs team tonight - it protects mourinho and enhances credit due to him after any good result should we achieve one

after a win: "you see, dare to do, I am spurs man, we play our youth and we win in this tough situation
after a loss: "you see, dare to do, bare bones, we had to play the kids, two points from 8, llorente would have saved us"

I predict 3-1 win with Sess/Gedson going to town. GHod knows how, just banking on that CL magic from last year.

It is hard to get motivated for this match despite it being the prestigious CL Round of 16 match. We are in such a poor form, being winless in 5 matches in all competitions, struggling for goals and hit by injury problems. And now we have to overturn the 1-0 first leg home defeat at Leipzig who are in good form. We will need a miracle to overcome Leipzig to progress to the next round. At least we can get inspiration from the CL semi final last season where we overcame Ajax from a similiar situation.

Our attack will be key to us getting something from this match. But not sure where are our goals are going to come from. With Kane, Son and now Bergwijn out injured, our options are very limited in attack. Moura inspired us with the brilliant hattrick against Ajax in the CL semi final 2nd leg last season. But he has been in depressed mode since being dropped for the CL final. Not sure which Moura will turn up for this match. Apart from Moura, we need the likes of Alli, Lamela and Lo Celso to try to get the goals for us. Wish Lamela will be fully fit to start this match as he is a big-game player who will help us with his work rate and creativity.

Our midfield have been poor all season. Just can't see our midfield doing any better in this match. With Nodombele struggling for fitness, not sure who will lead our midfield. Wish Sissoko is fit to play in this match. Don't like Dier or Winks but I think Mourinho will play at least one of them in this match. I think Gedson will play a part in this match as well. Whoever play in midfield, hope they will play above themselves to help us beat Leipzid.

Our defence have not kept many clean sheets all season. But it will help us greatly if they can stop Leipzip scoring in this match somehow. Lloris, Alderweireld and Vertonghen will need to be at their best to stop Leipzip. We have to avoid making any unforced errors near our goal but stop any long range shots. The likes of Aurier and Sanchez, if they play, need to avoid making any silly errors as well.

It was amazing the way we went all the way to the CL final last season. Wish we can do better than that by winning the CL this season or in future. To do that, we will need a miracle to overcome Leipzig and progress to the next round. It is going to be tough but as we shown against Ajax last season, it is not impossible. Let's hope we will turn up with the right team and mentality to beat Leipzip and progress to the next round of the CL.

To be honest, if we go through a game without an individual mistake leading to a goal, we're probably quite good. it could happen tonight!

Any team news yet ?

It is going to be another tense match with us needing to score. We need to use of the CL semi final match against Ajax as inspiration. Let;s hope we will put up a good performance and get the much needed win to progress to the CL Quarter finals.

I'm completely apathetic about it....zero belief that we could turn it around

Can't be apathetic about it as it could be out last CL game for a while but I have zero hope for it.

I always think "Jose can find a way. He always does." It'll take Houdini levels of escapology to get us out of this hole.

In other circumstances one nil down isn't too bad, but we need a miracle given our present form.

Can we wear the Lucky Green Kit?

To be frank, even if we scrape through I can't see us scraping through another round... so I just want to see us play a coherent system with confidence and players enjoying their roles and signs of progress.

I don't want to see 6 centre backs desperately lined up trying to block shots until one flies in. We need a balanced setup that can both defend and attack; we have a lot of capable players ya know!

Everybody dance now!

Generally agree, though Kane would likely be back for the QFs. I struggle to see us scoring 2 tonight though, or beating a German team on pens!

Looking down and out, brings on big game player ndombele to turn the tide. Dictates the game as he did previously with Lyon in the CL
