OMT Spurs v Athletico

IDGAF who it is, but we need a manager who UNDERSTANDS THE PLAYERS WE DO HAVE!
I am sick to the teeth of hearing about who we don't have, what we don't have. That has been clear fior a long time.
What is clear is that we have chosen managers who want to make these players do things that don't work for them.
We also need a proper fu cking DIRECTION from those useless c unts running the club. We currently have none. Daring to do what exactly? Play players in shapes and positions they might be able to perform better in? Apparently not.

Yes. The irony of tonight is we have actually shown a half-decent fist of it, and on another night we might well have made this a tough time for them.
Imagine if he'd got the selection right at the start. Imagine if he'd played a back four?

WHEN will we actually start making decisions which fit who we currently are and not this tossy spreadsheet data-driven model of what some 'people' want us to be?

And with 9 games and 27 points to play for -with all banter at levels anyway- IDGAF, make whatever moves that can get us a team of figures who can instill simplicity and confidence in this squad, whoever is available.

BTW mate, this is a general post using your point as a 'reply spot' and thus general, not personal in any way.
We've given a good account of ourselves not withstanding the giveaways, but if we had played 4 at the back maybe we don't perform as well as we have. As I said I'm no fan of 3 at the back, I actually hate it philosophically but we can't criticise it today because it has actually worked. We've had our chances, we've played reasonably slick football in moments. The system has not been the failure today.

Now Kinsky for Vicario is again something I would never do, but on this very board loads were arguing that Vicario should be dropped so it happening didn't come out of nowhere. Vicario has been frankly brick this season so dropping him isn't theoretically craziness (well it is if you're other option is Kinsky 🤣).

With regards to what you're saying about a manager who gets the players, I would suggest that Frank was doing that at the start of the season. He saw how poor we are, how much we lack and so setup to compensate for that, but of course we as a fan base didn't like that. So which do you want it to be? A coach who knows, understands and picks based on our strengths and weaknesses or a someone who just plays what he wants regardless of the fit of the players?

I wonder what crimes we committed in a past life to end up supporting this club... Whatever happens - and each week, it gets harder to imagine a happy end - we need a tabula rasa at the end of the season.

12 days until Forest. Hope they're ready for that game. No need to risk either against Liverpool if there's a possibility to make things worse.
