I remember us being terrible and 1-0 down at home to this brick too. We were much better in the second half after half time tweaks.
 
Dembele's having a shocker. Never thought I'd say that, but he can't even make simple layoffs at the moment. He's a guarantee to lose the ball when he gets it. Possibly worth bringing on Hudd at half time?
 
Besides our lack of intelligence in the final third, our biggest problem is each player's tendency to hang onto the ball for too long. It's a real obstacle to fluid, rapid, 'surprising' play that might actually catch them on the back foot and avoid getting pressed off the ball. I'm really not sure if this is a mental thing or a more fundamental technical issue.

This has been a massive problem for a few seasons. Imo it comes from a lack of movement infront of a player to give passing options.

The pitch is awful. It's like the marshes...I'd say it doesn't inspire good football...players probably feel they need an extra touch...
