It's a real obstacle to fluid, rapid, 'surprising' play that might actually catch them on the back foot and avoid getting pressed off the ball. I'm really not sure if this is a mental thing or a more fundamental technical issue.

This has been a massive problem for a few seasons. Imo it comes from a lack of movement infront of a player to give passing options.

The pitch is awful. It's like the marshes...I'd say it doesn't inspire good football...players probably feel they need an extra touch...
