New fighting game in the making called "Injustice". I'm not a massive fan of these games (I absolutely suck at Streetfighter), only fighting game I really ever liked was Tekken and Mortal Kombat series. But this looks interesting. Based on Superheros but the noticeable difference is the use of the environment. Looks good so far

Well it's made by those who made Mortal Kombat, so you may like it

I didnt even notice that but did notice it had the feel of an MK game the way the characters move. But yeah it does look pretty decent so far. Hope theres plenty of characters to keep it fresh

My only experience of the original was a hooky version without any instructions, so I didn't have a clue what I was doing.

i spent a whole summer playing frontier, illegally dumping nuclear waste and selling luxuries to space stations, taking on the odd assassination contract, happy happy days

I loved the original elite, and in fact i played it for a couple of weeks a few years ago (maybe not the orginal...elite plus).

I just realised it was over a year ago when GTAV was announced, fudge this year has flown by.

GTA IV is on sale, on steam, today only. Picked it up with tales from liberty city for only €8.50, bargain!

Can´t get a key from steam for GTA and the key for episodes don´t work with Games for Windows, pile of brick

Anyone else playing Dishonored through without killing anyone? Im almost at the end now with not a drop of blood on my hands... Difficult but the challange gives it a whole new dimension compared to my first play through. Gotta conserve your sleep darts (only get 10) so picking your targets is crucial as you dont have to knock out everybody ;)
Also each mission is an assassination, much like Assassins Creed, but each one has a non-lethal option which you have to work out. Although sometimes the non-lethal option is easier than killing them. Another reason its easier is coz the more people you kill and chaos you cause, the more rats and weepers roam the streets... So the non-lethal approach has its benefits. But yeah definately worth playing through again to get the no deaths achievement (or whatever its called).

On a completely different note. The new COD is out soon... But does anyone really care? Now Im not gonna go into a COD bashing rant or get all fanboyish on it, but Ive not been excited bout a COD game now since the release of MW2. They really do just pump out yearly updates with seemingly no care at all, I mean MW4 has been announced to be in the making... But was anyone at all suprised? And will it be a huge leap from MW3? Doubtful.
Its getting more like the EA Sports games now where they just tweek something here or there but no real overhaul, no change in visuals just some new maps and weapons and that'll do ya.
It amazes me how they've been using the same tired old engine since COD3! Over 6 yrs ago that game was released. You'd think (well hope) with all the money the 2 companies milk from COD series that by now they would be able to develope their own engine for the game. Which is why more people seem to fall out of love with the series. I loved COD4 but none of them since that game have been as enjoyable for me. I want them to be good but I know deep down it'll be the same old guff and the online experience just deteriorates that little bit more each new installment.

So how many of you will be rushing out to get Black Ops 2 on release or will most just wait till its on the cheap instead... Or just not bother altogether? Im not sure if I will bother or not? If I can do what I did with MW3 and get it on the cheap (20 quid) then maybe. But hardly played MW3 at all so dunno if its worth bothering again?

I'm with you on that one. Don't think it's ever lived up to its expectation after COD4 came out of nowhere.

Still haven't gotten Dishonored, but am planning on it since it sounds pretty good.

CoD won't be getting my money unless the reviews are phenomenal. In fact, it's probably safe to say that I won't buy it until it's on a new engine.
