Must be getting old. Bought GTA5, Red Dead 2, Wolfenstein ages ago and just can't be bothered to play them on my Ps4. Even during these boring times all I've done is dig out my Ps2 classic collections to play golden oldies like Tapper, Joust, Missile Command and the like on my compatible Ps3. That and going back to Civ5 on the pc... again!
Edit.
Last games I played and really enjoyed were the Bioshock ones, if you haven't played at least the first one it's well worth getting IMO.
True. The hardest part is always just starting. Just start GTA5 or Red Dead 2 and get cracking. You won't regret it.
I tell you what I did love....Broken Sword
Finally got round to playing Assassins creed - Odyssey having bought it a couple of months ago and did that thing of playing about one hour and just forgetting about it. Now if anything I'm a little too invested but damn it's great. Some excellent escapism and for the first time in ages I dig the storyline (and witnessed a harrowing moment today), but there's so much else to dive in to as well. I wanted to get away from Fifa having had a recent relapse as it can the online gaming is a bit too addictive and in the long run an unfulfilling venture.
Anyone else got back in to games previously gathering dust (metaphorical dust more likely)? An old friend I was chatting to who lives in a shipping container, said he'd finished whatever the latest Zelda game is on the Switch and thinks it's the best game he's ever played..But he never had a N64 so can't really say that without playing Ocarina of Time.
I'm playing Odyssey at the moment, it's excellent
It is indeed, my favourite AC game since the first. Love me a bit of Greek Mythology as well.
So I'm only a few years late on this one but Spiderman on the PS4 has been an absolute Godsend the last couple weeks. I started out on one below legendary difficulty and died in the intro 2 times, then it clicked you have be pretty much as good as Spiderman is in the films. I'm big in to the way you are often involved in cut scenes and the sheer amount of abilities / gadgets and brick is a lot to play with.
I smashed up GTA V in a week, picked it up for a tenner. Am working through Red Dead Redemption which is like a film and grabs you into the story.
Sick of the recent turgid displays, yes even after two games? Think you can do better than Jose? (I think that's a given tbh)
Football Manager 2020 is FREE on the Epic Launcher (only snag)
You can also get Watchdogs 2 and Stick it to the Man for free.
Not sure whether to thank you or not! Could be hours of haggling and tweaking our setup, when I could be doing something mildly useful. Will I be able to buy Bale?
I'd love @parklane1 to try it. As a simulator FM its not bad.
The simpler earlier versions were better in many ways. As they added more reality it made it more mundane - dealing with the press etc. Still an interesting game. I like creating a club and taking them up the divisions buying up youth prospects. Playing with Spurs used to be fun as we didn't have a lot back in the day. Now its a little too easy
