Thought the exact same! As soon as the credits started I knew it wasn't going to be as good.. Same musician though I believe.

The real problem however is the casting, Vince Vaughan is trying to be serious but it just feels wooden and unbelievable, I'm waiting for him to turn into his wedding crashers character..

Taylor Kitsch is equally uninspiring. The other two seem ok, but all their demon's seem so cliche and predictable. We will see, it might improve.
 
I caught the first episode of Humans. Has the feel of Utopia about it. I'm going to wait until they've all been on and binge the series, I'm not a fan of waiting a week to watch a new episode
 
Anybody seen the pilot episode of the new show Mr Robot? I enjoyed it and I note that it has a rating of 9.4 on IMDB not that that really counts for anything

There was too much going on in one episode i thought. Not writing it off though
 
3 episodes in and I'm uninspired so far by True Detective season 2. It's just 'OK'. Not a patch on the first season. The best thing about season 1 was the chemistry between McConaughey and Harrelson and the dry humour, the conversations they had in the car were brilliant!

I think it's kicked into gear more in episode 4. The 'action' bit of this episode was immense.

I disagree with the post earlier about Vince Vaughn aswell. He's brilliant in it imo.
 
strange question but someone here might be able to help me.

Anyone know when the last few series of archer will be released on dvd over here? I've got the 1st 3 and as a grown up child this show really appealed to my stupid nature.

I've found it on foreign imports and it seems to have been released everywhere bar here.

I need an archer fix and I know it's bad parenting but my 4 yo loves it.
 
I just finished True Detective season 1 on the weekend. Pretty fudged up show to be honest. I liked Woody's character the best but thought when it hit present day he got a bit sappy. Went a bit too Hollywood by the end.
 
Oh I agree that it's nowhere near as good as S1 but it's definitely watchable. A very high bar was set after all!

Do watch the series but its just like a subsitute Sopranos for me.......each character shares a resemblance to that show,Ray trying to run his seedy business,his wife is frustrated and has an affair,his kids have issues,rays father is like Tony's uncle and his brothers are just like his cousins and they get into all things.
