Silicon Valley series 2 starts on Sky Atlantic on Monday at 10. Decent comedy show I though, well worth a watch.
 
I feel I should say that Justified ended its final season this last week with a really great finale that felt true to the show and did justice to the characters.
A brilliant conclusion to a magnificent show.

Yeah very good finale. It's good when the creators of a show don't get too clever and go for a sensible ending that answers most/if not all of the questions unlike Dexter and The Sopranos which didn't make any sense and left too many unanswered questions respectively.
 
just binged through Banshee, Fortitude, Vikings, Black Sails, Bosch & Transparent in the last month. Enjoyed all of it. Moving on to Helix, The Americans, American Crime & The Following.

Not to the quality of The Americans but it's stylishly shot & the pacing is good. Story was compelling as far as cop dramas go & very good cast including Titus Welliver, Jamie Hector & Lance Reddingdong ("Marlo" & "Lt.Daniels" from The Wire). I went through 10 episodes in less than 2 days. Something about binge watching makes it addictive..
 
Still have not started Season 3 of The Americans..got hung up on Helix Season 2 which was a lot better than Season 1.

Have now moved on to American Crime.

I think it is really good. complex.brutal.honest.grey. with a great cast. Felicity Huffman & Benito Martinez (The Shield) are very good. ably supported by Tim Hutton & Regina King and a bunch of solid unknowns.

Yes, it burns slow & it forces you to think and then makes you think again. for a network series, with so much formulaic crap out there, American Crime is a breath of fresh air. If it had been screened on premium cable (with the addition of graphic sex, violence & swearing), people would be lauding it & giving it a lot more credit than it is getting now..as it is, it more than stands on it's own in a sea of network mediocrity.
 
Anybody watching Daredevil? I think it is head and shoulders above any other tv superhero series I have ever seen, and I have only seen the first 3 episodes.

I have just seen episode 4 and it is still brilliant. I could watch all 13 episodes in a day but I really want it to last so I am taking it slowly.

I really have to recommend it to everyone because it just brilliant
 
binged on the whole thing about a month ago. very raw. quite enjoyed it. kept waiting for D.A.Woll to bring her fangs out. :)
