**Official Other Games Thread, Season 2012/13**

As Wigan and Villa sgtill have to play each other, Saudi Sportswashing Machine are guaranteed to finish above one of them. So they're safe.

Lets see if Moyes can continue this 'Never give up until the final whistle blows' that Fergie has shown.

To be honest, it seems so firmly ingrained at the club after 26 years that he'd probably have to actively try to get the players to stop!

Just been driving home and had 5 live on, OMG is was one sickening United lovefest, commentators telling stories rather than commentating on the game

dont think Utd will win another title for a good few years....it'll be Chelsh!t and City fighting it out now

Fulham at home. Inexplicable.
Well it was after our heavy AET defeat away in Italy.

Games like Fulham happen: teams sit deep and play on the break and we were clearly off the boil.

More inexplicable to me were the 6 dropped points when winning against pool and Everton. Several, catastrophic individual errors.

Hopefully they won't cost us as our overall form will have been good enough.

Those 3 clangers plus the 1-0 defeat at home to Wigan are the lowlights of our league campaign.

Our inability to crush the teams at the bottom of the league has also been somewhat frustrating, against the Bottom 5 teams in the league this season:

Which has negated or superior points haul against the rest of the Top 5 compared to the Scum.

Not sure, i'm hoping someone will explain it though.

Saudi Sportswashing Machine on 41 points.

Wigan on 35 points, two games left, maximum 41 points. If they win both they will finish above Saudi Sportswashing Machine if they lose to Arsenal.

However Wigans last game is against Villa who are on 40 points. If Wigan win that it means Villa will not finish ahead of Saudi Sportswashing Machine.

This also affects Fulham and Southampton in that they are all but mathematically safe due to goal difference.

Incidentally, while I really want a Wigan win on Tuesday it will mean that Sunderland will be fighting for survival on Sunday.

the two clubs who do things the right way, how sickening for footie

No I havent been drinking but I fancy our chances next season..

Man Utd - New boss and I just dont think they will be as strong for a couple of years.

Emirates Marketing Project - New boss and big turnover of players coming I believe, also sounds like it will be Pellagrini who will not be as familiar with his own players or others. Also doesn't speak English yet..

Chelsea - New boss, again I expect huge turnover of players. Could go either way.. Depends how many Mourinho brings in from La Liga and how they settle.

Arsenal - Only dropping further behind every year and cant see that changing.. I think there is even potential for Wenger moving on..

Spurs - 2nd year of AVB.. I do think we are going to get the Striker and Playmaker that we need. Anything else a bonus..

Liverpool - Forget it.. Just not good enough despite decent-ish result this year.

Everton - Just not going to be the same club after Moyes..

Ginola99- If we keep bale, get one or two defender, someone with skills in midfield and a striker, then we'll be fighting for the title until spring.

Laudrup makes me laugh always saying they have nothing to play for. Talking about winning mentality, where is his? They've all been on holiday there since they won the cup.

Wait until next season, lose a player or two and go down. Mark my words.

Harry saying the QPR side wouldn't finish in the top half of the championship. Maybe he's right, proves the balance of the squad is more important than the players in it.

Funny how Harry says he just doesn't have the quality. Yet the squad is littered with internationals, CL winner, PL winners, and pretty much regular PL players. Maybe he should admit the whole club including himself haven't been good enough

Harry's been appalling at QPR, worse record than Hughes.

For once, he should just put his hands up and admit that he's at fault. With the time he's been there and the money he was given, he should at least have been able to take QPR up a place or two.

Something like 15 internationals in the squad?

@PhilippeAuclair: Number of full internationals on QPR books: twenty. 'Not good enough for top half of Championship', says their genius of a manager. Jesus.
