Hull could all but secure promotion tonight with a win at home against already relegated Bristol City. It's 0-0 after 80 minutes.

Hull?!??!?

I have nothing against the fans but they are a bit of a boring club...

How long will we have to wait for Forest to get back up where they should be

They can still make the playoffs. The game against Leicester in the final round is a must win, but they probably need at least 7 points from their last 3 games.

I would prefer teams who have a colourfull history and those who have not played in the PL/Div.1 for a very long time. That includes teams like Watford, Brighton, Forest, Derby, Wednesday etc. Somehow Cardiff and Hull just don't come into this category. Also, it is really boring to see the same teams getting promoted and demoted every year like Bolton. Want to see new teams get their chance to play in EPL every season.

Surely Cardiff come into the category of teams that haven't played in the top flight for a long time?

Somehow Cardiff just don't make me excited. Maybe they had been away from Div.1 for far too long : 51 years ! It is hard to remember what they have achieved in the past. I tend to get more excited by those teams who had made a mark in 1970s and 1980s.

Bolton were in the Premiership for about 12 years and finished 6th once. There's worse teams who have yoyoed (West Ham!)

I agree.

Not helped by their fans have a bit of a rep either. Not over impressed by Cardiff and Hull (almost) promoted. Would have liked to have seen Brighton (becuase of Poyet),Crystal Palace (decent London derby) with either Leicester or Forest as the 3 promoted teams.

Chances I might get one of the four coming up via the play-offs, but you just know its going to be Watford now I've said that

What's the reason for all PL games being at the same time today? Several games I would have liked to see, normally they have at least one game at another time, right?

(Yeah, yeah, bloody foreign fans wanting the games spread across different times ruining the match going experience for the real fans...)

Those 2 owe us a favour!

Well they did last season IIRC, maybe just maybe, they will today.

Southampton seem to be the ones who have done us proud this season, never thought I would say that either!
Come on BMJ one more push, would love a home win, but I'm not greedy, a draw would be fine if needbe

Looking forward to this weekends fixtures.

I am hoping after mid week disappointment that Jol and Berbatov might want to try and help us out with getting anything out of Arsenal, I mean even a point would be grateful but to be fair I can see Arsenal ripping them apart and scoring at least three goals. Which isn't good. Norwich and Reading should be good, always seem to be goals where Reading are concerned and I can see Norwich winning, I hope they do anyway, I like Hughton.

What a massive game between Queens Park Rangers and Stoke. I think QPR are as good as down but as I absolutely loathe Stoke I hope QPR can pick up all 3 points, plus it gives them a glimmer of hope and I wouldn't mind them having something to play for when they play Arsenal in a few weeks at Loftus Road. Another big game is Sunderland/Everton at both ends of the table, after Sunderlands great win last week, they will look to build on it and put a dent in Evertons Champions League hopes.

Swansea are literally on there holidays but they're safe and so are Southampton. A nothing game essentially, but I wouldn't mind Southampton winning it. West Brom/Saudi Sportswashing Machine, another big game this weekend. A Saudi Sportswashing Machine loss with results around them not going there way and it could get very very interesting for Saudi Sportswashing Machine and the rest of the season, important. West Ham host Wigan. I personally want Wigan to stay up and I can't stand West Ham so I wouldn't mind Wigan passing the brick out of them and nicking a late goal from the hand of Kone who's about 20 yards offside.

Predictions:

Fulham 0-3 Arsenal
Norwich 2-1 Reading
QPR 1-0 Stoke
Sunderland 2-2 Everton
Swansea 1-2 Southampton
West Brom 1-1 Saudi Sportswashing Machine
West Ham 0-1 Wigan

unfortunately they play for bricky Fulham who will be walked all over.. 0-3 arsenal.

Yep, though given Fulham were well beaten in a local derby on Wed, you would hope that they feel that they owe their fans a decent performance today

Some massive games at the bottom today - QPR and Reading playing Norwich and Stoke. Also Sunderland v Everton looks big. Saudi Sportswashing Machine could be 16th by 5pm.....
