*** Official Music Thread ***

And this has just been re-posted onto youtube in a remixed and remastered format. The band had taken it down a couple of years back because the huge number of views was taking away from other work they wanted noticed:

Talent out the ying yang from this man. Potential here for some sort of stadium anthem:

And this track is simply amazing with that killer sax solo in the second half:

Totally charmed with this lovely quiet conversation between accomplished musicians:

Eddie Van Halen. The Rock Stars' rock star. Generational talent. Stadium anthem auteur extraordinaire. Dead at 65 from cancer.

'C'mon, baby, finish what you started', he once sang. He did that and more. Sad to see him go.

Hey guys, new to the forum and so glad to see a music thread.

My own music story is that I was always one of those "closet musicians". Like a load of us, I was the guy that sat at home playing my instrument (piano) and had a lot of band envy when I went out at weekends. Once in a while, normally with a load of Dutch Courage, I'd play a couple of tunes on a piano in the pub and get a few mates singing. Then just over a year ago, I got talked into playing in a band at the grand old age of 50. I'm now gigging most weekends, a regular house-band member of open mics and do a load of depping in friend's bands when their keys player is missing.

In my opinion, Spurs and music isn't a bad lifestyle choice !!!

Nice one, mate! That sounds excellent! Must be nice to be able to play an instrument that well.

I used to play in a punk band back in the day, and playing live was such a kick! I make weird electronic music these days, and have been asked to play it live, but haven't had the guts to do it just yet.

Joy Orbison is my most listened to musician of late, I think. He's excellent.
