Have DL'd some James Bond films in 1080HD

I love a bond film, what's peoples favourite ??

The Man With The Golden Gun, Live & Let Die, Octo*****, The Spy Who Loved Me are some of my favs, do like Daniel Craig in the role currently, Timothy Dalton was good too, but it has to be Connery or Moore
 
Timothy Dalton's my favourite, don't give a **** what people think. Spend a lot of time debating it with my students as they seem to ****ing love James Bond in the Czech Republic...

He's just what I envision James Bond to be, a certainly more gritty and darker than a Roger Moore bond. I've been meaning to read a few of the books, apparently Dalton was a big fan of Fleming's work and therefore had an advantage in portraying the character Fleming had in mind. So I think the Living Daylights would be my favourite.

I do enjoy all of the bonds in different ways though, apart from George Lazenby..
 
never seen a 'classic' James Bond movie

think i saw one of the Brosnans and all of the Craigs - but i don't really have any desire to watch the old ones

Casino Royale (Daniel Craig not the s**** film with David Niven)
Live and let die (I still laugh now at the Sheriff after the boat chase. "Secret agent...on who's side? Brilliant)
 
Watched After Earth last night.

After Oblivion last weekend, this was another disappointment for me, struggling to give it 4/10

Oblivion is shockingly bad. I dislike sci-fi and fantasy type movies but Oblivion took the ****in biscuit.

You really are missing out. I never used to be a fan of the James Bond franchise but I got back into them after I saw Casino Royale (which is better than Skyfall IMO). I've been watching them from the beginning over the last year or so. Goldfinger and Dr No are awesome films, and they also contain the best Bond girls by a mile! Just watch Goldfinger and go from there.

Just saw Dallas Buyers Club. If 12 Years A Slave doesn't win best picture at the Oscars then I hope DBC wins. Matthew McConaughey and Jared Leto should both be unanimous oscar winners too in their categories.

Don't keep struggling, give it a 3. Shocking to think Will Smith tured down Django Unchained for that catastrophe.

Agreed, I do wonder if McConaughey is just going to pip Ejiofor to the Best Actor award. Both were great performances, but McConaughey's was a little bit more showy despite the extreme emotion that Ejiofor conveyed in his role
 
Watched The Worlds End, had a few funny lines including this corker

"Why dont you get back in your rocket and **** off back to lego land you c**t" hahahahha

It's the second book and set in the mid-fifties, so twenty years earlier than the film. It's harder than the film and other than some very dated attitudes to race, very good.
