Apparently they needed permission.


Which was both teams to agree to close it. Which Poland did not agree to..
 
I liked, or found funny that the Polish media woman said that they knew there was going to be heavy rain but they didn't know there would be a down pour!! Surely both are 'almost' the same thing? Plus if they knew it would be heavy rain, why not shut the roof ahead of time?
 
If this is postponed until tomorrow then AVB will have a valid reason for "resting" Defoe on Saturday and going with Ade :-k

Obviously, it was the wrong kind of rain.

And it wouldn't surprise me if the Polish FA official once worked for British Rail.
 
They could always play the match tomorrow although it would clash with the alleged television event of the week, a one hour live episode of Emmerdale. I do not watch the show myself but I bet ITV1 bosees will not be impressed
