Get Pochettino man. Braineclipse has convinced me.

And the link to Bielsa. Enough for me. Get him in

Haha. If we get him and succeed I will accept all of the credit :) If we get him and he fails I will accept none of the blame and only a very small portion of vitriol :)

Absolutely agreed. Don't want Mancini at all, but the principle of improving if we can stands.

Then we're in total agreement on this.

Just watched MOTD from yesterday, I know its just highlights, but some of the football Southampton were playing was incredible.

There was an attacking move where they went from defence to attack, with pass after pass, Everton were busting a gut to close them down and going flying into tackles, but the Southampton players were volleying first time passes into each other's stride with pin-point accuracy and it ended with a missed chance for Lambert...

Come on Poch, come to Spurs! I'd love that football at the Lane!

Not sure if it's been mentioned already, but Stobart saying on twitter that LvG to United is a done deal. Also repeating that Sherwood is gone and knows it.

So would I but you have to have the players to do it. Players that are technically gifted enough to play one touch, free flowing football. You can't just impose that style on players because it may not suit some of them. I don't think it would suit players like Sandro as an example. You have to tailor your style to the personnel and Southampton are fortunate in that they have managed to accrue and bring through a majority of an 11 that are very comfortable playing first time football which makes Pochettino's job alot easier if that caters to a style he likes to play and he clearly does.

I reckon we will go all in for Poch...

If its Levys intention to go down this route Id rather he got him wrapped up ASAP.

I will concede Southampton are a joy to watch!!! but appointing Poch is still a risky business...either way Levy needs to be decisive so we can get things rolling for next season...at least Poch has shown he will develop youth...

I don't think anyone thought players like Skrtel and Flannagan could take part in the kind of football Liverpool have been playing this season.

Pochettino has improved Southampton quite a bit I think, and is part of the reason their players look as good as they do.

I would rather have someone working towards a plan of how we become more than the sum of our parts than just try to work for the short term and put a team together. And personally I like the style of football Pochettino plays and would love to see us bring in more players capable of playing that style of football.

True but those are two players at the back who in fairness, have had minimal input in terms of the style Liverpool are playing. I would love him to come in and that style of football be almost instantaneous but I am not sure it will. People need to be prepared for a bit of upheaval, players looking like they won't fit in and then being sold. I wouldn't be against Pochettino but I would be concerned if he really cannot speak English yet and it isn't just a facade to avoid extra questioning.

have you got a link, I can't see it.
cheers

Van Gaal to Manchester United is a done deal. He'll be the next manager - just a matter of when it's officially signed and announced #MUFC

Sherwood: https://twitter.com/gstobart/status/459979827937017856

Sherwood out of a job in a few weeks and promoting himself to get another gig while giving Levy a dig in the ribs. Understandable #THFC

Sandro also plays really deep on the pitch.

From what I've seen of him Wanyama doesn't exactly look like GHod's gift to technical football either.

I think it's pretty much accepted and known that Pochettino now speaks English adequately, but just doesn't want to deal with the media directly.
