If Pochettino's experience makes him a pathetic choice, what is Sherwood?
Somebody who has beaten Potch home and away in his rookie season?

but it's ok to offer the caretaker the job based on half of that time?
Who is saying that, I don't think either of them are 'the guy'

No
My main gripe is id rather stick with someone like TS than go for someone else for the sake of going for someone else. Youre all a bunch of jokers who just wants 'anyone but Tim'. Its a joke. A bunch of emotional people who boo hoo dont like TS so lets go for anyone else - desperation. It was the same with Harry and look where that got us.
A record points total?
A record points total?
yes...due to having a world class player...not a world class team.
If your going to compare arry to AVB lets be sensible......neither won trophies.....one of them had us playing exhillarating football the other turned WHL into a toxic soup.
DHSF makes a decent point.....
I love the way southampton play...I would love that at spurs.....but there is no guarantee it would work, it could well be another disaster and of course we'd have to put up with that annoying translator.
Yeah see how I tried to make my point without using stats? Now if you want to use stats - lets look at the points TS has accumulated since taking over and you will recognise that he is a very very good choice - if you want to look at points and stats solely. Even more impressive is that TS hasnt had a pre-season and has done it in a short space of time.
Blimey mate seriously. Even I have acknowledged that performances arent great and the performances under AVB were also not great - im being pragmatic whilst most on here are just 'I hate TS' anyone but TS. Which is not the correct thing to do. It just worsens the situation.

Except if the club monitor forums (and they do) then making it very clear that what we want is "Anyone But Tim" is incredibly important.
So Tottenham make some noise, we dont want David Moyes, he's a boring ****

Tim will cost us a lot of potentially important players, I can already see him telling Levy we can ditch all of last summer's signings(bar Eriksen) and the likes of Vertonghen and Sandro so we can get some top English lads in with fight and spirit and all of that cliche garbage. There's no need for Lamela because we have Aaron Lennon who I know and trust a lot, he's a great player plus we have Harry Winks coming through.

Thats just preconceived again - there isnt much evidence of that is there.
ps - it hasnt hurt Liverpool with still keeping Gerrard and Sturridge, or Chelscum with Terry and Lampard, or Everton with the likes of Jagielka and Barkley etc etc etc
pps - there was a time when people used to slate managers and even posters for wanting foreign and now it seems to be demanded eh.
There is a lot of evidence, just look at his teams and the garbage he comes out with in the press. Sandro gives away a penalty and suddenly he's no longer good enough, Vlad has a bad day at the office and he's drop kicked out of the squad entirely, our £26m striker can't get on the pitch, Aaron Lennon puts in countless anonymous/**** performances but starts every single game. He describes our squad as much of a muchness and says how we need more Premier League experienced players, he's bigged up the likes of Tom Carroll and Jake Livermore whilst belitting Lamela. If he gets his way we'll have a bang average team but full of top British lads, he'll soon find out that it was moment's of rare quality from those players he's ditched that were getting him points previously.
As for nationality, I don't care where they're from as long as they're good. It just so happens that most of our British players just aren't up to it.
