Lescott , Milner and Lukaku would be our main transfer targets if Sherwood remains in charge. Am i the only one that thinks that would be a rather good summer?

haha yep. It depends how much money we have to play with. I would love Lukaku though. Not keen on Milner. Lescott would be good for a minimal fee and back up.

Milner possesses immense crossing ability and is 100000000 more effective than Lennon. Milner crossing to Lukaku could be devastating imo.

Milner is my TS - I hate Milner SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much its untrue. He has a face I would like to punch haha. He has a decent player but im intrigued by the likes of Lamela seeing how well he can play etc.

I can't stand Milner either. I've been criticising him a lot on here for a long time. I think he's useless.

Can't drop Lennon though so Jimmy Milner would have to play elsewhere. Maybe he can replace Eriksen when he's ****ed off to play for a real team.

You're right there, but they pay even more attention to the supporters going to games and the atmosphere isn't in anyway anti Tim at all. A load of 'ABT' banners at games would make a hell of a lot more impact than having a moan on the internet I'm afraid....

Large crowds are terrible indicators of opinion and a company involved with football clubs should know that better than anyone. Apart from the fact that people act like sheep in crowds, the noisy tend to drown out the thoughtful.

The club will be monitoring Twitter, Facebook and forums not just to get a clearer opinion but also that of their more affluent fans.

Unai Emery anyone?
Had Valencia in the top 4, now at Sevilla and doing a brilliant job there.Plays attractive football, is young............... surely what we are looking for? Or is the prospect of appointing another manager from Sevilla just too much? :)

The least the club do is monitor social media like twitter and it will be very clear what people think or him.

Plus journos who cover Spurs like the excellent Ben Pearce. People like Stobart who are vocal in opposing his classless antics.

Us the fans have a voice and if there is a growing consensus that he is bad for the club off the pitch it will be registered.

Even on the pitch. The football is poor and we are being carried by the class of a motivated Ade and the ability of Erikson.

I'd hope the views on Spurs forums would take precedent over the likes of twitter and facebook. That said, I'd find it hard to believe the club really takes the fans' thoughts into great consideration.

Except if the club monitor forums (and they do) then making it very clear that what we want is "Anyone But Tim" is incredibly important.

Ooh, a couple hundred loud-mouths on the Internet with an over-inflated sense of their worth and the validity of their precious opinion.
That's not, and should never be, the determining factor that sways decisions for Tottenham.
If there was unanimity in the fan-base then it is another matter entirely. But instead we have one faction wanting to speak for the whole.
When they don't.

I've watched a lot of Madrid this season, I can't see them sacking Carlo even if they win nothing, he's got them performing to an exceptional level, the future looks very bright for them.

You talk as if opinion is split in something even vaguely like an even manner. The opinion on this forum is overwhelmingly against Timmeh and it's far more pro-YTS Tim than Facebook and Twitter.

OK, a couple thousand loud-mouths then ;)

Of course people with a passionate hatred will rush to vocalise it.
But if there's a lot who don't feel all that strongly, they aren't going to be flooding social media with an incessant message of 'Meh, Sherwood might be ok. But don't mind either way really. Would be nice to get a big name but Sherwood's not all bad.'
