New Stadium and Training Ground - Pg 104 Northumberland Park master plan

1. Time for a change don't you think.

3. MK Dons owner...dunno to be honest there hasn't really been that many new stadium builds that are the costs of ours and Arsenals to be able to give you an example.

I also think its a bit unrealistic to be honest to compare joe bloggs 10% of there wages, to someone taking a profit hit from 580m to 230m when they are valued at 3.5 BILLION. Infact its a total tinkle take.

1. Sure, I have two copies of "Brave new world", I'll send one to Joe tomorrow...

3. What you say kinda makes sense, but in my experience it doesn't really work like that. It's like you say with greed and wanting more and all that, there really isn't an end point to it and I wouldn't expect any serious business man to find that end point and start handing out hundreds of millions of pounds to individual businesses, even less so to a football club actually.

images of proposed new Chelsea stadium at Battersea.....of course they lost out in the bidding process, but it hasnt stopped the cnuts releasing these pics of WHAT the stadium could have looked like

looks quite unique and iconic actually, even though they have pinched the kop idea from us for one of the stands behind the goal

just had to delete images because I cannot post pics because of copyright issues

i can't believe they wasted so much time/money/effort on a project which was never realistically going to happen

Looks like Sampdoria's ground.

Nonetheless, a farcical plan that was never going to happen.

I quite like the retro look. Brick stadiums are cool and I love the East stand at the lane. Without the pillars of course!!

lovley link, but they didnt pinch brick! a large single stand is a basic way of putting lots of people in on place, hardly a revolutionary new idea from the guys who brought you the east stand pillars.

I love this bar
It's my kind of place
Just strolling around the dance floor
Puts a big smile on my face

No movie stars
Come as you are
Mm-mm-hmm-hmm-hmm
I love this bar

If you dig what Toby Keith's saingin', you gotta totally love the Luigi Ferraris.
The ideal starting-point template for a Tottenham-type stadium. Our kind of place.

Really is about time that the club dangled some stadium/training ground porn the fans way.

Training ground porn must be imminent.

I can't believe, however useless the club has been thus far in keeping us up to date with progress, that they won't do a big article about the new training ground on the website (including Spurs TV) and in Hotspur magazine before pre season starts.

Probably have a media day too. So SSN likely to do a piece on it.

The corners may not be to everyone's taste but a mate of mine went to see Arse there a few years back and he said the stands were so steep that there was a bar in front of every row of seats to stop you falling forward.
I love steep, steep stands and with something like this you can generate the kind of intimidating atmosphere that the club seem to want from the stadium.

absolutely

the training ground must be finished or very close to being so. Wonder if the will have a big open day showcasing the new centre and at the same time introduce AVB as the new manager in the new media room, and have Vertonghen holding up the new home shirt whilst taking a dip in the hydro/swimming pool, Sigurdsson holding aloft the 2nd shirt in the middle of the 70m by 50m indoor pitch, and our super duper new striker who is still a mystery will be posing and holding up the 3rd shirt whilst being photographed in the state of the art new gymnasium

:)
