Everton fans think it's just them trying to get the fee spread into tiny instalments over 100 years, but I thought we were the only club that would ever do something like that?
 
I know I'm in the minority but will be pleased if we get him. We need some pace and power in attacking areas and we need numbers given we have the CL in additoin to the PL - our youngsters such as Edwards and Onomah aren't ready for the PL or CL yet though last year we could play them in the EL given its a weaker compteition.

Its a big price but thats the market today and if Poch thinks he'll be a useful addition then I'm happy that we're after him

At least he had some hype at the time but getting circa 60m for those two is beyond belief and speaks more of the departed board members at the merseyside clubs than any perceived view you have about Ashley or your dof negotiating ability
