Mikey Moore

Spurs and englands top goal scorer of all time is not a generational talent?

Bale couldn't get in our team.

A generational talent isn't about being ahead of the bell curve at 16. It is about being a great player for that generation. Which is their whole carer.
I disagree slightly. A generational talent as per how people use it is to refer to a player, always a youngster who is ahead of the curve with the expectation that they will stay ahead of that curve. Kane was not that player and was not considered a generational talent at a young age. Whereas for some people Moore has been referred to by this term already hence the over top expectations associated with him.

Bale couldn't get into the team because he was mis-profiled as a LB when he never was, even for Southampton he played LM. He had no lack of impact (he even scored 2 goals and 1 assist within his first 3 leagues games for us if you remember? One was a freekick) he was played In the wrong position. Once he was returned to the position he had actually shone at in the first place the performances followed as expected.

At the end of the day. Moore has bags of talent. That we all want to see realised. Lets just leave it at that. When he's 21/22 we'll have an idea how good he is/can be.

Rangers did get through to the CL, meaning they can now splash the cash on a loan for Moore.

Other mighty teams we could face:
Qarabag Malmo Shkendija Ludicrous Ferencvaros Pafos Poznan Salzburg Plzen

Mighty.

Solanke, richarlison, son, tel, solomon, yang, johnson, maddison, kulu, kudus, odobert, lankshear, donley, gil...
More need to go.

I would say that Solanke, Tel, Johnson, Madds, Kulu, Kudus and Odobert are in the safe group.

Richi, Son, Solomon and Gil are most likely to leave.

Yang, Lanks, Donley etc are probably waiting to find out whether they fill our squad or head out on loan.

Bit disappointed he’s going on loan. Now we have even less forwards with the season 2 weeks away.
He is a player with great potential imo. But that’s what it is potential. When he did get minutes in the premier league last season I thought he looked off the pace. Therefore him being available for us I don’t think helps us.
I think a season of playing senior football hopefully week in week out will be good for him. I believe Rangers are now guaranteed to play Europa league group stage so the loan should mean he plays against teams of a mixture of abilities from the bottom rungs of the spl to some more established European teams in the Europa.

In a round about way, you seem to be saying that Mikey went from U18s as a 16 year old then deep first into our mens first team, and has perhaps missed out a few normal steps that players go through. That includes playing that much for our U21s prior to getting time away on loan and it now feels the right time for that. I'm also interested to see what position he ends up playing. I see different things in him actually.

Be interesting to see who the spotlight moves to once Mikey heads north. My guess is young Luca WB.

My thoughts as well, he should get a lot more games there then he would do for us.
