I was asking about the qualifying stages before the league phase. Which I assume Rangers are playing now?
No idea.

Why do our fans always say things like this? He should force his way into the team and if he doesn't then maybe he hasn't got what it takes to be playing at the highest level.

This. There's a lot more to a loan at Mikey's age than the actual football, especially for a kid who's been developed at a fancy Premier League club.I do agree whatever we think of Rangers its a top club that sells out most games, he will be playing in a totally different game [pressure wise] which will/could be the making of him.
Did he sit on the bench the whole time? No he forced his way into the team and became the player he is today. If you are not getting minutes out on loan its because you are clearly not showing the quality to take someones place.Just for comparison. Modric made his senior debut at 18 in the bosnian league.
Maybe he didn't have what it takes?

I really wish he wasn't coming to Glasgow, however, he will learn what it means to be playing for a club that needs to win every game.
The expectation is currently unrealistic at ibrox, but that doesn't stop the fans demanding success.
Hopefully some of that will run off on him.

@Gutter Boy, say what you will about Scottish football, but surely you can't deny that he'd be getting minutes at a truly massive club, under huge pressure to perform?
West Brom would be a good loan too, but with more of a risk that he doesn't get much game time. It just takes one senior signing made late in the window to freeze a youngster out.
Not a clue, take absolutely nothing to do with either of the OF.Who plays on the left for them at the moment?
Would you expect moore to start?
Sounds like the perfect place to get experience.I really wish he wasn't coming to Glasgow, however, he will learn what it means to be playing for a club that needs to win every game.

Dont you also want him playing against defenders who are more capable than training cones? Two of most important things are they he gets playing time and is working for a very progressive and talented manager.

Did we really see this gulf in quality between the PL and the Scottish PL last season? I seem to remember many struggles to overcome them in Europe for PL teams
Yeah, but Ross County and Livingstone. Attendances of 1800
Barca, real, inter, byern...
