Mikey Moore

Why do our fans always say things like this? He should force his way into the team and if he doesn't then maybe he hasn't got what it takes to be playing at the highest level.

Just for comparison. Modric made his senior debut at 18 in the bosnian league.
Maybe he didn't have what it takes?

I do agree whatever we think of Rangers its a top club that sells out most games, he will be playing in a totally different game [pressure wise] which will/could be the making of him.
This. There's a lot more to a loan at Mikey's age than the actual football, especially for a kid who's been developed at a fancy Premier League club.

@Gutter Boy, say what you will about Scottish football, but surely you can't deny that he'd be getting minutes at a truly massive club, under huge pressure to perform?

West Brom would be a good loan too, but with more of a risk that he doesn't get much game time. It just takes one senior signing made late in the window to freeze a youngster out.

Did he sit on the bench the whole time? No he forced his way into the team and became the player he is today. If you are not getting minutes out on loan its because you are clearly not showing the quality to take someones place.

When he was moores age he was in the youth team. Never got in the senior side.

I really wish he wasn't coming to Glasgow, however, he will learn what it means to be playing for a club that needs to win every game.
The expectation is currently unrealistic at ibrox, but that doesn't stop the fans demanding success.
Hopefully some of that will run off on him.

Happy with this decision to not take him to HK, I wonder if CL qualification clinched it.

When people are mapping out the squad putting him down as a bonafide option out on the left, do we really want him starting Premier league / champions league games for us? Bar flashes or 15 minute spells in the Europa League, Moore wasn't able to impose himself on games and I don't think repeatedly getting hooked at half time was really helping him either.

Rangers sounds like a good shout. It's rarely easy for a young "starlet" to go out and force their way into the side in place of griseled veterans but the lad's attitude seems spot on and it could be the making of him.

Who plays on the left for them at the moment?
Would you expect moore to start?

A good drinking culture down at that level. Put hairs on his chest. All that

Two of most important things are they he gets playing time and is working for a very progressive and talented manager.

It will be interesting to see where they would play him. They have a youngster on the left wing coming through just now as well. No idea how good, but looks like he played well in a pre season.

Can see it being a tough start and he doesn’t impress in his first few appearances, but works his way into the first 11. Though I’m no fan of Rangers I think the demand on the players there will be good for him. Got a few mates who are rangers fans so sure they’ll keep me updated on how he’s doing
