Mathys Tel

Looking at that German data looks like he's a predominantly left winger. Can someone tell me if he is primarily left or right footed? Or relatively two-footed and what his instinct is when playing there. I think ideally Angeball requires both wide players to attack on the OUTSIDE when they're on the ball and try and hit the ball low across goal or take a shot on themselves while attacking on the INSIDE when they're off the ball when the ball is on the opposite flank (i.e. they should be in the box waiting for the cut-back/cross).

He's play left/middle/right, and is two footed.

Preference seems to be left, and his natural foot is right.

Been doing my research via YouTube more so analysis videos rather than highlights and he seems to be right footed but with a very good left foot. When he's dribbling he will pass or cross with either foot depending on the situation. He has played mainly off the left but can play on the right. On the left he mainly cuts in but can go on the outside and hit accurate crosses with his left. On the right he still goes inside but is more likely to cross the ball it seems.

I'm just intrigued as to where we intend on playing him. Is it striker, the left or the right? The right is our position of most need long term but you could argue that striker is needed right now.
He plays with Odobert in the French younger age groups so it'll be interesting to see where they've both played when starting together.

You say that but I think Ange loves Brennan Johnson. He's everything he looks for in that position. What I'm interested in is having someone that can take on their man and stretch teams. That opens the door for a player like Johnson who isn't someone that thrives when in a corner but as someone that gets into the positions Ange wants and is a clinical finisher - the issue for me with Johnson's effectiveness in this system is with what has been going on, on the left flank. Sonny isn't ideal in the Ange system, Richarlison, Odobert and Moore haven't been fit. If Tel can be someone that can stretch the left flank with pave and fire the ball across or score himself i think Johnson could push into the high teens or 20s for goals, his output is that good.

He can't if we decide to take up the option of making the deal permanent. Well he can't for 6 years unless we agree to it.

I've read itherwise, that Tel has a say. Meaning that the option cantbbe executed unilaterally.

Oh well, too late for that anyway. Competition is good, and he's a good plan B up front, totally different from Richy

I think the loan fee is probably coming out of what is owed. Not the final optional payment.

I think the bit I wasn't understanding well enough was about the revenue only being attained when the money is collected from BM. So if BM paid us £40m on the transfer date of Kane, and then £20m a year for 3 years after then that is what goes into THFC's P&L. It's all about keeping things in balance. So if say we are completing our last payments to Juve on Kulu and Bents this year then that cashflow frees up for the next round of purchases.

Not sure what our current unpaid debt is on prior player purchases but I'm guessing as high as it's ever been based on some of the transfer fees we've seen recently.

If Tel really didn't wanna sign for us, he could down tools and poo on the floor of Levy's office and say he'll never sprint again for us, at which point he would be shown the door.
We only want players that want to be here. So whether Tel has a say or not, is a moot point. He will always have the right to defecate and demonstrate.

After reading numerous conversations about us being an unattractive option but then reading thru the runners and riders whom were after Tel...he chose us. Go figure

It's either ''the president' or 'the manager' doing good work. (as Tel noted)....but let's just imagine it's both, and the set-up is working as planned.

The same set-up that got Radu to choose us over Bayern
And Bergvall to choose us over Barca.

Little old unattractive us.

Logically, if Mathys wanted join to he would taken the original full transfer, no risk to him if he doesn't perform.

Also this is a translation of German Sky report

Laughing stock. Lange has no clue. Levy just doing things for optics/PR. No one good would want to come anyway. No real plan, just panicking.
