Again I don’t see the big deal in Tel doesn’t do anything that well… i could be wrong. Just my opinion. Not bothered if he goes back.
I thought I recognised you.Lick it
Hoping we sign him permanently. Seems like he does actually like it here.I agree he doesn't look like the next incarnation of Ronaldo YET but "luckily" the club have had a really sustained period to assess what he is like in training, what his raw skill level is, what his personality is, how driven he is, etc etc, so whether Spurs choose to buy or not, it is probably the right decision at this moment.
He might turn out to be exceptionally good or meh, but we've assessed him really well this year and will make a call based on all the behind-the-scenes things we haven't seen.
Indeed Mbuemo is great but unlikely to come here if other rumoured teams interested go in for him. And it does sound as though we want to negotiate the fee down, and Mbuemo is 5 years older so that has to be taken into account. Whilst Tel hasn't set the world alight, to me it appears he has a lot of quality and in a year or two having got much more to grips with the PL (I think some people really underappreciate just how difficult it can be to adapt to this league) he will be growing into a seriously good player. Of course Mbuemo would be the preference considering he is ready made, but I don't see why Tel can't reach his levels in the not too distant future.(I appreciate we would like to sign ready made stars, just that Tel would not be a bad alternative for our model). When Mbuemo is rumoured to be available for around 50m can't help but feel Tel isn't really justifiable
