Juan Foyth

His calmness is what I love, so assured on the ball.. But to contrast that he aso showed a cynical streak with a clever 'equaliser' tackle late on.

He made some brilliant last ditch challenges and was never scared to carry the ball forward and drive attacks, especially impressive when compared to the 'senior' midfielders ahead of him who refused to take responsibility.

I think he's brilliant and will be a fixture for us in the not to distant future. With he and Sanchez able to learn from Verts and hopefully Toby in the next few seasons, we should be set for another generation.

The chances of needing a 3rd choice GK for the 2/4/8/9 remaining CL games are 500-1
Still a risk though. We’ve already had one occasion this season where Hugo was injured and Vorm was ill, so Gazzaniga was called upon, with Whiteman on the bench. Hugo’s been out ill for a couple of games recently, it could happen again. It only takes a repeat of the circumstances in that Palace game, plus an injury, or a red card (albeit unlikely) for the second GK and we could end up with a youth GK having to face a Juve or a Barca for example.
I agree it’s a very low likelihood but is it a risk the club would want to take?

Worst case scenario we put kane in goal. ;) I would definitely take the risk to get one more attacking player in the squad to potentially influence games. Alternatively just leave sissoko out, but we know that won't happen. How many times have we had to use our third gk over the last 10 years? Maybe one or two times? Not a very likely scenario.

Seems to have recovered ok after that nasty nuts Lamela inflicted on him earlier in the season, I know that was a worry for a lot of posters.

The kid had a superb game today. Very good on the ball and his defensive work was excellent. Would love to see him and Harley become our defensive stalwarts when Jan and Toby go out to pasture.

Some very good moments and looked assured most of the time.

Some shaky moments though. Like their first big chance after our throw, he was way out of position and made a bad call trying to play offside.

Not sure about his involvement for their first goal either. He tries to push up to win the ball back quickly, but doesn't get near it and left a big hole at the back.
