James Maddison

It's probably been mentiond earlier in this thread but I am concerned about the amount of times he goes to ground.... The slightest little physical contact and he's over...

Is he not strong enough or just looking for the easy option... He reminds me of Grealish who just seems to play for fouls most of the time....

I have a theory
Some players we have signed have comes from teams that excel at hacks to the wall football where set pieces are beneficial … teams like Lestah and Everton
Those teams need their players to win free kicks and get as many as they can
When they down here where flow and speed is key…, they can’t change their way of playing as much

He gets hacked down a lot, some of those tackles are utter brick.

The issue is in this league, you have players like Grealish & Saka who ever single time they go down the ref's give a foul, for us, we have had players like Moura, Maddison who get very few calls to number of actual fouls. Consistency would be good ask.

That's a fair shout

That cameo today was pretty awful
Couple of passes straight out of play
Few bobbly passes to bissouma
Anything else?
Didn’t he have a weak shot go over?
The worry is outside of him and Kulu there is no other 10s
He game on in the 82nd minute I believe?
Not really enough time to get into the game

He was no worse than anyone else who had the whole game to stink the place out
