I don't think we are in for him at all, a guy with 17,000 followers has posted it. Dont think he's that good either, also not sure why he would swap City's bench for ours....

Yes but as I said in my other post we’d just not register Gil for PL.

If we bring in a new number 10/left winger then I suspect Tel wouldn’t be registered for the CL (though it could be Kulu if his injury appears to be one that will keep him out until December)

I agree. I think Ake is better than Davies though, so we’d be strengthening both PL and CL squads. Hincapie is the right signing here but I think he is too expensive for us.

I think Takai would go on loan personally. Frank seems to want ready made solutions now and to allow young players to develop properly??? Ake would answer an area of the squad which needs depth. Experienced too, plus the Dutch connection back there...wanted to ask you while I'm here, do you think Williams-Barnett could be a surprise squad inclusion/breakout this season? I see how aggressive the goons are in blooding raw talent. Whenever I have watched WB I think he's got fantastic skill but cannot decide if his (obviously needing to develop still) physicality would be enough? BTW, very much enjoyed your contributions to the transfer window/squad discussions...

I think Takai has caused a real issue with this plantar fasciitis. We've had no way of evaluating him as a bridge to Dragusin's return. And that condition could also clear up tomorrow, or take a year to settle down.

I'm not particularly a fan of Ake. Especially so soon after watching Richy and Kudus run rings around him! A loan might not be the worst, but I'd stick with Davies for now and focus on scouting a specialist LB for January.

I've never really seen Williams-Barnett, other than a few clips. 16 is very young though, and he's not especially big (Moore in contrast always had a bit of bulk). If anything I can see Frank keeping a tight 25 man squad, with little bleed from the academy. We've loaned out all our best U21 (11 so far). All that remain around the fringes are: Takai (TBC), Vuskovic (TBC), Gunter (to loan?), Craig (to sell), Scarlett (to sell or loan), Byfield (very young), Olusesi (maybe a year bossing the U21s will suit him at the moment?) and Williams-Barnett (very young)

More like we have Danso, Romero, VDV and Davies right now. Dragusin not until New Year when all is said and done (i.e. Franks's had a chance to see him, bring him back gradually) and Takai is an unproven Prem player who again Frank has not seen enough because he was injured during pre-season.
I think Frank absolutely wants Vuskovic for the future and wants him to get a little more under his belt. Ake absolutely addresses two areas of the squad which need reinforcement i.e. LCB and LB.
I think it'd be an excellent deal to make.

I though Dragusin was due back expected back very soon. I get your qualification, but as a 4th choice CB, easing him into easier LC and CL ties is probably all we'd ask of him at this stage of the season even if he was fully fit
