ITK Thread

Again, not saying this guy necessarily know anything, but seems a bit odd to me to judge based on how his Twitter profile reads.

Personally I’ve got no idea about how much info leaks out of the club. However, I can tell you what my mate said on the day Jose got fired… he was at work at Lilywhite House. It was a normal day until someone noticed that the TV in the corner - set to SSN - was running a banner stating that Spurs had sacked the manager. Not one person at Lilywhite House had any idea that anything was going to happen.

Thus, my take on it is that THFC is very, very watertight. Frankly, that’s the way it should be (in my opinion).

Judging by the speed of the Danso move I’d agree
It’s exactly why I didn’t get the “levy on a plane” thing
Just didn’t make sense
That’s not me saying we didn’t want Tel
Most of deals we have done under Lange have been quiet and then …. Done
Less than 24 hours between the reporting and they are signed
I think that’s what frustrates the old school fans because it’s not what we’re used too

I can absolutely see that it frustrates fans because we all want to ‘know’ things and be reassured that the club is working on bringing in the players that we need. Ultimately, however, I’d suggest that the last thing we want is for the club to releasing information purely to reassure fans because it gives other clubs the chance to hijack deals. Let’s face it, we have both hijacked and been hijacked over the years; moving forward we only want one of those scenarios to be able to be repeated.

Much as I dislike the phrase, I simply choose to ‘trust in the process’ and accept that the club has ID’d its targets and is doing whatever it can to bring those players in.

Do you tell anything important that you want kept secret to anyone that you know will spread it around?
If there are leaks the club will look to find out who is responsible so if someone is sharing it with some idiot putting it on Twitter they're most likely putting their job at risk.

I can guarantee that anyone who truly does have access to sensitive transfer info would not be parading themselves around social media calling themselves an ITK.....

I don't know. It's just not beyond the scope of possibilty that someone, somewhere along the lines of us making a deal, might be dripfed information that they share with someone else. In my opinion.
 
According to something I read on Twitter last night, They reckoned that we asked about Danso at the start of the window and were told 30m plus, so starting looking elsewhere, Once realised we could get him for less we went back in.

Could also be that we have multiple targets we were looking at

Once we talked to them we pulled the trigger on the one we wanted/would come to us.

On SC they have deduced from some very vague ITK that Lange had a few deals lined up when the window opened, but Levy refused to sign off on them. Danso was one.
