Meanwhile... BBC reports

Emirates Marketing Project midfielder Fabian Delph has a groin strain and will miss England's friendly against Australia on Friday (kick-off 19:45 BST).

Manager Roy Hodgson has told him he will now be on the standby list and will not be in the 23-man squad.

No great loss, an 'injury' to save face perhaps.

Gotta make room for Wheelchair, I suspect. Two more "injuries" and he's in. Wouldn't mind Alli and Kane getting "injured" and not being a part of the unevitable England collapse and subsequent media bashing this summer.

Hodgson played the Spurs contingent in the same team, which made me think he values partnerships and familiarity with teammates. He hasn't chosen to pair Drinkwater and Vardy, when this is presumably Drinkwater's test for making the cut. Vardy's ability to fall over doesn't require Drinkwater, though.

Rashford really is the real deal, exciting times for England.

What a start to his career

Rashford may have scored and that'll grab the headlines, a bigger concern is the lack of midfield we have. Lallana, Drinkwater, Henderson and Wheelchair are being dominated by the Aussies and Forster has no trust in them and is hoofing long all the time.

It's not a great England performance. And there's no Spurs lads out there. Maybe a couple of second half subs can add weight to that correlation

Against this opposition, you'd hope we wouldn't need a team full of stars. Just good professionals playing well as a team.
Yeah, that team's girlfriends should be enough to beat Australia. Still an embarrassing line up for an international team though.

There could be sensible thinking there. Is Rashford the player we want leading the line, when Kane, Vardy, Sturridge and Rooney are alternative options? Could he play a role?

Well I wouldn't be taking Sturridge so Rashford would be back-up for Harry. Rooney and Vardy play the "roles".
