I aint no Sheikh-but lets talk weather

Typical that the kids go back to school/college this week and the sun comes out. Had a lovely day on the beach today. Tomorrow looks cloudy but the rest of the week looks great.
 
Lovely day forecast today, Sept always seems to be wicked doesnt it, massively lucked out at Bestival last weekend with the weather and this one isnt too bad either in the south
 
Ok, where the fudge are you this is getting serious now!!! snow lots of it in 2 weeks??????? what the hell???? i have way to much work to get done before winter kicks in like that!!

What's this snow brick? Not from the express again, is it?
 
Ooooooohhh it's ON now! They mostly come at night, mostly. I saw them lurking about late yesterday. By nightfall, they had surrounded my propatah. It's the return of snow.

My old nemesis, white powder, the snort of businessmen, Charlie Brown's teacher. It nearly killed me this morning, driving to work in a haze of snow. Oncoming traffic, undoubtedly wearing dodgy summer tyres because they can't be arsed to reshoe their cars in time, making them deadly missiles, driven by ladies, women and other chauffeurs with suspiciously poor skills behind a steering wheel. Snow slush is worse than driving on solid ice. You just float, like a mystery wrapped in a riddle. An enigma? Very much so.

Another 6 months without golf, that'll do wonders for my swing. I would have been a respectable pro if we had courses open all year.

That's it till syttende mai then hey? I'd happily swap places, I love the snow and no amount of winter greens will help my swing.

Late April of we're lucky, but syttende mai is a good shout:-D

Snow is nice when it's cold, but around and above freezing point it's just slush and useless. Laid down a good 8 inches now, brightens up the otherwise dark afternoons quite nicely. Shoveling snow with my little boy was fun, our neighbour gave us a small snow shovel for him to use.
 
My mum and dad lived on an island just outside of Oslo centre before I was born and there's pictures of my brother playing in the driveway with 5ft of snow either side of him where it had built up all winter. They moved back to UK before I was born though :( would have loved it!

Like you say though, slush sucks balls.
