Its not exactly a con but people believe they are gambling based on how they think the game works when in fact it works another way.
The problem is it the psychological trickery that goes into this. It really is about manipulating the psychological triggers for addiction.
A con then. Or people are just stupid.
I wonder what the payout percentages are of these online slots etc. Cannot be very high at all.
I've played online roulette/slots/deal or no deal games and the like on various different betting sites and have only usually won something after losing a fair chunk beforehand. No coincidence. The classic one is when these sites give you a "free bet" to use on their games. You will always win something in the hope you lose that and then deposit your own cash...that's no coincidence either is it
