Fabio Paratici - Consultant

I guess the big unknown for Paratici and what he must be working quite hard on, is raising cash from sales. Could be +/- 100m. A huge difference to his budget even before considering the liberated wages.

Probably get around 10m for Winks, 16m for LeCelco, 6m for CCV, Bergwijn 20m so you'd think we'll realise at least £52m in sales?

But then Sanchez could raise 20m, Rodon 10, Royal 20 (think there is more to come from him so shouldn't sell too cheap), Regulion 15m, Ndombele £0 (but 10m a year wages must make a big dent in Paractici's budget)...so another possible 65m.

Forget the 'what will we spend' we should have a 'what will we recoup' vote :)

Massive change from sell to buy, to buy before pre-season and sell later, which was much needed IMO. Any extra money it costs us will be more than worth having a full preseason with the whole squad, not to mention not missing out on targets. Never say Levy doesn't learn from his mistakes.

Hasn't cost us much extra money so far.

You won't know that until the window slams shut. If we can't shift some we will probably loan them out cheaply.

Clubs already know lo celso and ndombele aren't a part of contes plans. Probably gil and maybe emerson and reguilon aswell. Doubt if we'd have waited we'd have saved any money. Especially with the signings we've made. Perisic free. Bissouma as low a price as we'd likely get.

£10m for Winks and £16m for GLC seem quite conservative to me. Similarly £15m for Reggie

equally though I dont see us spending the £150m net this summer

I think the cash injection was as much, if not more, about allowing us to get our stuff done early in the window without having to wait for sales money to come in as opposed to giving us 150m on top of what can be raised.
