A much fairer view of Ade, I havent ever seen significantly less effort from him than others on the pitch. When he came on he was still chasing ball back to the keeper etc, maybe not chasing back and sliding into midfielders, but ive only seen Kane ever do that. He is a talent but lacks the mental discipline to be at a top club or to do at consistently. Its nothing to do with desire or money or contracts its a mental issue. He is good when he arrives at a club as its all new and everyone is excited for him there, however as soon as the new star appears and he isnt main man, he goes into his shell and becomes introverted.

He made one (Verified) mistake as far as im concerned since he has been here which was the late return from AFCON when we had a injury crisis.

Couldn't this also be in the Balotelli thread ?. It is part of the front man belief system. Always outnumbered by opponents and still the keeper to beat, he becomes paranoid victim when not achieving superhero status.

As far as I know, there are actual rules that prevent clubs from doing just that. You need a proper cause to leave a player out from training and/or fining them. It really sucks, but Ade does have the Aces in his hand. As long as he dosen't want a transfer, we're stuck with him.
 
I think we're likely to find it easier to find a club prepared to take Adebayor on than we are to find a club likely to take Soldado on. However Levy will probably have to swallow his pride and give Adebayor a pay-off to accept the move.

Soldado however, I fear we are stuck with for the length of his contract.
 
Soldado goes/Adebayor stays - you'll say the club obviously values Adebayor higher.
Soldado stays/Adebayor goes - you'll say we couldn't find anyone to take Soldado off our hands.

Even though the club seem more interested in cancelling Adebayors contract than having him around any longer - i mean why would they think about releasing him before we had a buyer lined up for Soldado, that just doesn't make sense in a world where Adebayor is such a superior player (capable of scoring one whole league goal more, last season in the same minutes)

There has been talk of players suing for constructive dismissal in the past but I am not aware of a case that has been won

Ever the pedant but surely they're still spurs related talking points, would you put a ledley king thread in to general football? What if Lennon leaves, has he had enough appearances to stay a little while before being sent to the cheap seats?

While they're still playing I think they should be in General. If we are to talk about them further down the line as legends or, in some cases, "legends", this would be the place again. We do have a 'where are they now' thread buried somewhere.
