Although, I would love for Ade to prove me wrong. We need his goals to propel us in the Champions league spots.
I reckon he will grab an assist today for a goal.

Good GHod the bugger had better come through now! I DO believe he will hit a scoring run, but have to admit, the stats and percentages don't look pretty...

Seriously though, the stats don't seem to be that bad.

Ade has had 23 shots in the league and has 2 goals. He has had 9 shots in the EL and has 1 goal. He's not even averaging 2 shots a game, he's bound to shoot more in the future and when he feels better physically he'll give himself a confidence boost too. If he plays 11 more games and EL games, he's got to get goals, if he shoots and he will have shots.

How the hell after all the preseason hold up on wages and him wanting 100k+per week can he only have a 2 shots per game avg. I'd be embarressed to pick up my wages based on this productivity.

He was absolutely abysmal against Sunderland, Coventry and QPR and poor against Lyon and missed guilt edge chances in every game.

Those games when he was away:

A point at home to United who have more points than any team in PL history at this stage. And we deserved 3 points tbh.
4 points against Norwich and WBA away, think 90% of Spurs would have taken that.

It really is staggering how you continue to claim that he somehow isn't having a bad season despite only 3 goals in 21 games.
 
He isn't playing very well at the moment, but he is certainly capable. Right now his poor for isn't costing us much, but when it comes to crunch time he needs to step up and play as well as we all know he can.

True dat. Only hope is that he seems to automatically raise his game against the Gooners.

So here's hoping for a hat-trick for him as Bale is double-marked all game...
 
I don't even know what Adebayor needs anymore. I don't know if he is low on confidence or doesn't give a fudge but either way, I hope it is sorted out soon because we really need him and/or Defoe firing and scoring goals.
