Using that logic, can the Prem say "you finished 3rd but we decided you didn't qualify for the CL, we're going to put Spurs through instead" come June?League cup is run by the fa not the prem.

I.e. Do the Prem say who qualifies for Europe, or does the CL or UEFA or ?
How would we get an extra 3 points? We'd lose 3 points from beating them.
Because we lost against them in the previous encounter whilst other teams may have beaten them in their only match with them.
That doesn't give us 3 points.
It would do if we are given the three points from the fixture that we lost.

Thinking about it, a transfer ban until their legitimate profit has made up for all the losses made over the years would be a suitable punishment. If they get a transfer ban it would mean less competition for Dennis Cirkin come the summer.

I don't think they could do anything in a season to effect that current season. It would be historic honours stripping and relegation/future point deductions.
They won't do historic because that creates it's own problems. Teams that missed out on prize money would want that. Teams that missed out on cl places, how much compo would they want. It would cause a load of legal cases. That would take years. All in the news. An even bigger embarrassment for the league.
There's a precedent with Juventus in 2005 and 2006
Queue New York City to big one biiiiilion pounds for Kalvin PhillipsThinking about it, a transfer ban until their legitimate profit has made up for all the losses made over the years would be a suitable punishment.
So would everyone else too. Zero gain, zero loss.Would we not just lose the 3 point we gained meaning a default to 0 points over those games?
So if they get stripped of their titles can we then claim De Bryune, Foden, Walker etc are overrated and not good enough because they haven’t won a title?
