Fair enough. But at some stage, he will need to do more than have a 'good' goalless game. I think frustration is creeping into people's assessments of him because of his seemingly never-ending bad luck/lack of composure in front of goal: despite him clearly being unlucky in the extreme, the best strikers overcome even that to continue finding the back of the net, and we probably paid 26 million quid expecting that he could overcome his demons and get into the scoring groove, something he has manifestly failed to do so far.
I want him given the next few games at the head of our AM trio, against relatively weaker sides: if that doesn't get him scoring, then Poch will be completely justified in dropping him to third place in our striker roster and promoting Kane ahead of him, imo. Regardless of his bad luck or undisputed work rate.
