Can't see it happening but if it did happen then it would be a fantastic signing and statement of intent ahead of the new stadium.
 
We really should go for him. The transfer fee should not be a problem at the 32 million PSG quoted Arsenal (which is ridiculously low in this market for a player of this calibre), but not sure how he would fit into our salary structure. Damn you, self-imposed salary cap!

The problem is going to be what PSG are paying him. That and every other decent side who's on the look out for talent, being in for him. Can't see it. Not our style.

I agree, I think if PSG are looking to sell and it is within a reasonable price range, ie £50m overall given that is easily spread out over a the course of the contract then we should definitely be looking at him and I think we would be seen by the player as a positive option ahead of some other clubs that would be seen as favourites for his signature.
 
If we got 20mil for Sissoko say, then for the extra 12mil we would have got a fine upgrade.

Can't see it either. They paid £34m iirc, nearly e40m so I would expect them to sell at a minimum of around £45m. We could definitely still do it but it would have to be a move that came together very quickly before everyone else gets their stuff together.
