Dominic Solanke

Hope he recovers quickly and is back to full fitness quickly. Sorely missed against Fulham. And with our shortcomings wide his presence is very much needed.

He does hold the ball better than Kane
It wasn’t Kanes strength IMO
He is ok at it big Solanke is up there with Kanoute I think for that kind of hold up

I find it hard to compare strikers to Kane. That's because the Kane that left Spurs was so different to the 25 year old prime version. The earlier version had everything that I needed.

I would now say that Solanke and the Kane of today are very different strikers and we need what Solanke offers more than what Kane currently offers. Kane won't even compete for headers with his back to goal nowadays, let alone show for those passes from the midfielders and defenders. I just hope Solanke can increase that goals to games conversion rate a little.

It would be good to have a strong bench i.e. give some kids a chance, then bring on the big boys when the crunch comes. They can handle the crunch.

Crunches aren't so bad. It's the twangs that are killing us this season.

So happy to see him score those goals, especially the second one, which i saw from high behind the goal.

That second goal especially was a showcase of excellent running, strength and accuracy. And what a ball by Spence!

He looked injured at the end....any update on this at all?
