To be fair I haven't seen anyone question him on here, most have liked what they've seen in him. Question is why Ange has been less keen, but this contract extension is promising news and I wouldn't be surprised to see Porro move in a year or two and this guy should be tailor made to deputise....
 
I guess we will have to wait and see if it means he will become a regular player, Maybe he has grown up and started to work at gaining his place.

I was pushing against the tide when he first came, it was tongue in cheek, I am happy he has signed.

It's a bit of a surprise, the ball was in Djed's court with the contract running down. Good news though and hopefully he'll keep on getting minutes.

As said the Europa situation still seems bizarre but he clearly hasn't been put off by it and has worked hard to get into Ange's plans.

I do wonder how many poor games Destiny would have to have before Spence gets a start out there, I don't see Porro getting dropped anytime soon...

I think both should be looking over their shoulders TBH, neither has set the world alight this season.
 
Hopefully he is back training soon, and it is nothing serious. He can keep Udogie and Porro on their toes, along with Gray and Davies
 
i believe djed can also put pressure on johnson.
djed is comfortable shielding the ball and a bit like kulu, rides challenges well.
maybe an alternative for teams that defend deep that Johnson seems to be ineffective against

I think a partnership of Porro and Djed, with Porro the forward one. I think Djed is a bit better defensively and frees up Porro to but a very aggressive winging with lot of strength behind him. Has a great shot on him and will put the defensive work in, unlike Johnson who stood there ball watching.

It also proves extra defensive cover on the right as both player can swap at will and cover each other going forward. Causing defences a nightmare if don properly.
