That always bothers meAnother injury in training (club website)
But at least, so far, he isn’t made of lamela glass so it may be a one off

If it was a hamstring, sure. But a quad?A thigh injury means he's likely overdone it sprinting, its not an impact thing
It can happen - it depends which side (front or back) is naturally weaker. If it was a hamstring, sure. But a quad?
Fair to assume they are linked - probably been playing through the injury and trying to manage it, so not doing certain things. But now the surgery has become essential.never good to get injuries, but his form has fallen off a cliff so it doesn't really weaken us right now
I think having a more defensive player in there helps us
Yeah I know what you mean it’s pretty unusual but trust me it can happen. If it was a hamstring, sure. But a quad?
Good to see him get some recognition.
Hopefully he comes back stronger and we can get someone to take some pressure off him next season
Foden will IMOCole palmer will win that. But glad he's been recognised.
Foden has already won the young player twice (In the two years before Haaland last year) He's probably favourite for the main player of the year award this year (Unless they don't win the league maybe)Foden will IMO
Can win both don’t forgetFoden has already won the young player twice (In the two years before Haaland last year) He's probably favourite for the main player of the year award this year (Unless they don't win the league maybe)
In that case yeah he deserves both, Doubt it'll happen thoughCan win both don’t forget

I think he delivered a lot. So impressed with him, not just his potential, but how good he already is. Even though he perhaps wasn't as outstanding in the second half of the season as the first he was still really good imo. It clearly showed when he wasn't there. He promised more than he’s delivered. But still a great asset, and next season the management need to demand strong output from him. Goals. Assists and clean sheets.
A highly capable player who if encouraged and pushed can reach the heights.

I think the main thing management needs to demand is a real option for him so he doesn't have to play every minute/game without such a massive drop in quality.
He's already well on his way there imo. Give him time and give the manager more options so he doesn't have to play quite as much and all the ingredients will be there imo.I want him to be world-class. The ingredients are there. He can kick on and excel. But we need to demand more from him, and yes give him competition. VDV potentially offers competition. But probably isn't a long term rotation option as he's not quite good enough on the ball in midfield.
