The club did some market research and concluded that having the name on the stadium was better for the club in terms of raising money because it elevated the brand profile. It was documented a while back.

Income from naming rights would be at best 20-25m a year. The amount of coverage we get from NFL, concerts, world boxing fights, etc has been calculated as greater than that.
There would be no premium from not having a stadium sponsor. Logic and you don't go together, do they?
Its just frustrating. I still genuinely find it incredible after a quarter of a century folks will still stick up for what is happening.

I think you’ve siphoned off money from Spurs and while we’re at it, I think you shot JFK too. Prove me wrong.
There is a strong case to be made against Levy’s running of the club (as there are arguments in favour of him). You really don’t need to resort to uninformed social media hearsay to make a credible argument against the man.
I could be wrong. But i meant Lewis/Levy has found avenues to profit off Spurs by property and land acquisition. If i wasn’t clear thats on me.
They took the Arsenal route but instead of investing it in the team they siphoned off the profits/long term ownerships off that.
We dont own the flats they built on the land and the future land.

Of those 6, one was a freak result - Leicester. 2 were clubs that were bought prior to the new PSR rules so owners could throw billions into the club.
1 of those haven't won since 2004 and since they built their new stadium due to it also draining their finances and are only just getting back up 21 years later.
That leaves 2 clubs - Liverpool and United.
By your thinking we better sack all other boards/chairman who have been in the PL for the last 25 years (roughly 50 clubs including promotion/relegation).
