Daniel Levy - Chairman

I'm probably older than you.

I don't see Spurs as a league winner.

But we used to be a cup winning side. We were happy with that. Scum became a league winning side. Then became a cup winning side.

25 years of nothing. An investment club. And the thing that really hurts is folks happy enough with us being brand aware.

fudges sake.

compared to who?

Who are the teams who were around us at the time Enic took over? Saudi Sportswashing Machine (probably above us), Villa, Everton, Leeds, West Ham.

The last time they won a trophy (including cups):

Everton - 1995 FA cup
Saudi Sportswashing Machine - ok just LOL on that one
Aston Villa - 1996 League cup
Leeds - 1992 league winners

We have actually won 2 cups since the last time our peers did. Unless of course you are trying to compare us to Manchester Utd/Liverpool or the billions of city/Chelsea.

Perspective as always is important.

I could be wrong. But i meant Lewis/Levy has found avenues to profit off Spurs by property and land acquisition. If i wasn’t clear thats on me.

They took the Arsenal route but instead of investing it in the team they siphoned off the profits/long term ownerships off that.

We dont own the flats they built on the land and the future land.

You do realise Tavistock has enormous amounts of land acquired from the compulsory buy the council/Lammy gave them?
Still not getting how ENIC have taken money that is the football club’s for themselves which is what you accused them of.

What are the favourable arguments of Levy over a quarter of a century brother?

I could give you a billion pounds today at the rate Levy had and you’d have 4 billions to re build old trafford.

You reckon you could do it?

We are in masssive debt. Its not a skill to pay for something and get it, its not such a skill to deliver it 2 seasons late and twice the budget…
Our league position has improved. We’ve been top 6 of something like 15 of the last 19 years. We hadn’t finished top 6 in the 15 years before that. It’s our best run of league finishes over a long period of time.

We had two credible titles pushes and reached a CL final. For a club who has won the league twice in almost 150 years, that’s a decent effort.

In that time, we’ve been established as one of the biggest clubs in Europe.

From a PSR perspective, we’re one the best run clubs, if not the best run club, in the league.

We’re financially very stable and are generating more money, even relatively speaking and outside of the tv deal, than we’ve ever done which is enabling us to become one of the biggest spenders in the league on transfers.

While we went over budget on the stadium, it’s a construction project and that happens to most of them. You’d also have to say that Levy did incredibly well on the financing of the debt.

The lack of trophies will always be a stick to beat Levy and I would be critical of how he manages wages. But, overall, he’s done a good job and I always say “ENIC Out” isn’t a credible argument in itself unless we know who is coming behind them. There are only a handful of prospective owners who could take us forward and a multiple of that who could take us backwards.

I'm far from happy with the lack of trophies and this seasons a disaster but people talk like we have fallen of a dynasty like United.

For the record I think it's time for Enic to move on but without any of us having the power to do anything I'm also not going to howl at the moon

I've seen the scum win the league at our ground....Any serious owners would want to change that.

But no.

And our fans are happy.

Pathetic
What does this even mean? Arsenal won the league at ours 20 years ago. It’s not liken they’re winning it every year. In fact that was their last title. You said above you don’t expect us to be league winners so what do you expect the owners to do to “change that”.

I also doubt you’ll find a single fan on here who is happy with our trophy haul under ENIC or that is happy with the current situation we are in. So our fans aren’t happy but some are capable of seeing the bigger picture or considering all the circumstances rather than carrying on like a 5 year old who stamps their feet when they don’t get what they want.

Please don’t resort to the name calling. I know you’re frustrated with our owners and you have every right to your views.

But we’re not twitter and that’s not what we do here. We like to have civil and constructive debates

We have poor owners.

Levy is a fool.

Thats kind of it.

It's usually about then a fair few fudge off for their halftime pint anyway...returning around 55mins then fudging off to 'beat the traffic' about 80-85mins.
I'm not sure many head out for a HT pint that early.

The point of me posting the tweet is that these guys are planning a protest which won't really be noticed in a crowd of 60,000 for a game which isn't even on UK TV.

Haha levy under the spotlight. He must hare it

It's a bit blurry and tbh I can't be arsed with it, but is the crux of his argument that our turnover to wages ratio to low?

Surely the reason for that is that we sold/moved on a lot of senior high wage players last window?
You can't replace all those high earners in one swoop, so is it not just timing?

It's a long piece to basically say just that.

I suppose the transfer spend is off the table now?

Our wages to revenue ratio was the lowest in the league even with those highest earners on the books. Players like Kane or Lloris leaving is not the reason for our low ratio.

Sensible argument but he says we could sign 3 players on £250K a week and still be less spending less than 50% of turnover on wages. The types of players on those wages would be over £200m plus which he doesn't mention at all. We clearly have money to spend but need to consider transfer fees as well.

And players in that bracket can choose almost any club they want.

Might not be very easy to convince them to do a hammy on their 60th sprint of the match, away at Stoke
