Christian Eriksen

We scored the most goals in the country!!!

Teams clearly struggle to defend against sunitherwise we wouldn't have achieved that

And erisken scored some crackers too

No doubt. We are good. But there is room to improve. While Eriksen was getting tonnes of flack in the first half of last season, you could see he was playing okay, but not getting any space - opposition teams watched him score goals like the one against PSG and ensured he got no space. In the games where we dropped points teams sat back and we weren't able to make space to score.

Weren't there only 3 games that we didn't score in? Liverpool away, Man Utd away and West Ham away? I don't think any of those teams really 'sat back' they all got about us in those games and pressed us quite high.

All 3 though we're really poor tired performances. No excuses in those

I'm still furious about that performance

Likewise but the performance at Old Trafford made me emotionally sick. I mean I'm not the most stable person at the best of times, but that performance when I know we are capable of so much more. It's frustrating, demoralising and upsetting all in one package.

Liverpool was over so quickly that I had no time to hope that we would turn things around. It was also a disturbing performance.

Performances like this happen to all teams. We were rubbish away to City too. And perhaps we should respect the opposition's performance but it's hard not to feel stressed and frustrated by the performance, even if you know that it's likely a rare bad performance rather than an indication that the team is a mess

An ongoing issue for us to deal with for sure. Hopefully we've found a better way to deal with it this season.

Article in the Independent and Miguel Delaney
insisting Barca now after Eriksen.

Wish this Window would end. Press want to see us fall down the table so they get their Weak Spurs narrative back where they can bash Levy and the club.
